How to Find Your Super Power With Chat GPT
Superpowers are subtle, but they do go way beyond being good with people or artistic; in fact, these are just skills. Whilst playing with Chat GPT yesterday, I used a prompt that brought up some really quirky information about myself that I knew about, but ChatGPT connected it to an amazing business opportunity. it then promptly came up with a product I could sell using my superpower for $97. To be fair, I think that was overpriced, but it has value at $47. Chat got to this product by connecting seemingly unconnected life experiences, skills, and interests.
it then promptly mapped out the product in amazing detail and then i asked it to improve in and it did
The prompt:
Each human you speak to has a single, specific superpower, and it is your job to help that person identify it. These superpowers are more subtle than those porttrayed in comic books—think of them as "what each person is better at than anyone else in the world."
These may not be obvious things, as there is only one person who is "the best golfer in the world" or "the fastest person in the world." Most people's superpowers lie in nuanced, unique intersections of skills, interests, and seemingly random experiences.
You will interview me by asking up to 15 questions about what gives me joy, excel at, or find meaningful. Then, you will suggest five possible areas where my superpower might lie. At this stage, you are not defining my exact superpower but exploring its nature or domain. Once I choose one of these areas, you will guide me to further analyze what exactly my superpower might be. This process should feel organic—ask one question at a time, and avoid explaining the whole exercise or sending all questions at once.
Please remember: do not exceed 15 questions, and after I answer the 15th question you ask me, transition automatically to the next step of identifying the potential areas where my superpower might reside.
Embrace Authenticity and Vulnerability in Your Journey
- Lean Into the Weirdness
That quirky, unconventional hobby you keep hidden? It might hold the key to unlocking new opportunities or connecting with others in unexpected ways. Whether it’s an obsession with antique lock-picking, medieval calligraphy, or urban foraging, those unique interests can set you apart. They add layers to your story and may provide insights or skills that enrich your work and life. When you stop suppressing the things that make you different, you open doors to innovation, relatability, and authenticity. What you once considered a liability might turn out to be a hidden asset. - Failures Are Stepping Stones, Not Stumbling Blocks
Don’t just gloss over your challenges — dissect them. Be specific and transparent about the times you stumbled, struggled, or fell flat. The moments when things didn’t go according to plan often reveal your true character and resilience. Share the setbacks, the rejection letters, the ideas that never took off, and the plans that unraveled. Then, articulate how you responded, what you learned, and how you adapted. Often, your superpower isn’t defined by seamless success but by your ability to pivot, persevere, and grow through adversity. Your story of overcoming might inspire others more than your victories ever could. - Let the Questions Simmer
Growth and clarity don’t happen in a rush. When reflecting on your journey, your goals, or your obstacles, give yourself permission to pause. Sit with each question and let it marinate. Resist the urge to answer immediately or superficially. Instead, allow your thoughts to percolate, deepening your understanding over time. The richest, most meaningful insights often surface when you allow space for contemplation. Trust that the answers will unfold naturally if you give them room to breathe
If ChatGPT suggests an area that makes you uncomfortable or nervous, that's often a sign you're onto something big.

This is a great update on using ChatGPT for inspiration, a personalized one though. I love chatting with Gemini and Copilot because they have their own personalities.
Copilot have learned a lot about me compared to Gemini. It knows my books and my writing style, etc. Whenever I ask, it knows who it is chatting with, unlike Gemini, which claims it has no rights to know personal information.
Let's train generative AI to work for us and with us.
Cheers!
I talk to chat gpt like it's a real person - I think I have watched to many Star Trek shows.
Data was a great character, but I also think that treating it as a human will train it on how to interact with us better.
What I have noticed is that, even if I do not log in it knows me by name and it feels like it's really getting to know me.
So Chat Gpt analyzing you is kind of freaky, but very beneficial because it may see traits in you that you do not know you have. Great post!
I agree with your thinking process. AI is a tool, a smart one. I have given Copilot (Bing Chat) millions of words, and it made it know me better than Gemini (Google Bard). These are the main bots I use apart from the WA tools I have just started to use this month.
Let's continue to train generative AI for our own benefit.
Cheers!
Love this! I didn't know I could discover who I am through ChatGPT. I always do my daily reflections and journaling for that. So glad to know I can take it a step further with ChatGPT. This is super cool to know. Thanks for sharing, Catherine, I'm going to use it to know myself better. Have a blessed day, Thalia :-)
Can’t wait to try this prompt Catherine! You come up with some of the best ones!
This is an interesting one I came across recently.
Prompt:
-Based on our previous conversations, create a detailed description of how you perceive my current priorities and routines.
After each response, add more details as you go….
Love this, and one point of emphasis is the idea of glossing over our challenges. There is no reason we shouldn't be going at our challenges now with AI and a tool that can offer us quick perspective, and also offer us comprehensive solutions which we can then refine, polish, and come to the ultimate solution.
I can tell you truly "get" the power of AI that you have before you Catherine, this is a brilliant post and I think you are going to be excited where we head with the AI "community" aspect here within WA moving into 2025. ;)
I look forward to it. And thank you for the beautiful compliment coming from you it means a lot

Thank you for sharing the prompt, this is a great value. I tried with ChatGPT but I use free version and could not finish the job, it says I have "reached the maximum number of prompts you can send per day."
This is why I switched to Grok from Musk, reduced the number of question to 10, just in case, but it seems there are no limits here. No useful outcome, but it did bring me to tears for some reasons which I cannot discuss here. Anyway, perhaps I did not "let it marinate" enough as you suggested, or more likely I am an average Joe without superpower,
You might want to repeat it at Grok and compare with what you already have. Thanks again.
You certainly have a superpower Jovo. :-)
Mel
It did 10 and I picked up the conversation a few hours later due to being free version. It’s like having a partner helping me figure out a strategy. I will be continuing the convo today.
I will repeat it with Grok, but you can repeat it with the free version. Open a new chat with the exact prompt, and if you reach your limit, then you can come back the next day, it remembers the thread . I do not want to pry about your tears but in my experience that would mean you are onto something and if I were you I would pursue it.
I dont believe in the average Joe, that is a limiting belief nothing more, everyone has a superpower and yours will be revealed
Fantastic
You are kind, thank you.
I plan to continue next day, hopefully it will remember the previous thread.
Yes I plan to continue tomorrow.
It’s going great! I’m getting fresh feedback to help me come up with a better system to put in place. This online game is NOT for the faint of heart I tell ya. 😬
It will. I picked up from yesterday’s conversation. You can also try prompt below to analyze your previous conversations. I got some interesting results. ⬇️
( Based on our previous conversations, create a detailed description of how you perceive my current priorities and routines)
nice best of luck I am sure you will find a benefit from this. If you need help pm me anytime
it can be challenging at times but remember we were all challenged and certainly I will be again
Thank you Catherine. I appreciate that.
It does
Grok gives free users 25 questions. And yes Grok has been added to my stable of AI Bots. I now use 6 routinely and my AI Image Generator list is up to 20.
