1st Solo Ad Result
I bought my first solo ad from https://udimi.com. Following some training to make sure I did things right (I don't have money to waste) I purchased 50 clicks at a cost of .44c each, The training advised only to buy a small amount the first time. I was also shown how to choose a good seller and how to set up the swipe email with an affiliate link.
The offer I was was promoting a free one, so I was looking for optins not sales. I received 56 clicks and 19 optins, 33% optin rate, VERY good and I'm delighted!
It wasn't hard to do and on the face of it seems a good investment, time will tell whether I get sales as these optins go through the sales funnel.
I'll definitely reinvest and use this method again to get people into the sales funnel.
Anyone else had success with solo ads?
Update - I should add a disclaimer here and say that solo ads aren't something that Kyle recommends. I just wanted to share my personal experience and how it's worked for me.

No, what this means: 19 optins I have newer understand the optins in solo ad well enough, I´m sure it´s silly but it how it is :)
Optin ... broken down .. opt in... means that you would like to be part of something - I would like to opt in to this opportunity. Hope that helps you to understand it. If not PM me and I'll explain further. :-) Also take a look at my website, we want to help you succeed at WA, let us know if we can assist you.
On a website you visit you might see a form asking you to subscribe. When someone subscribes they've "opted in" to receiving further emails from you. You give them the option to receive emails. Does that make sense?
It might do, I haven't looked. The training I used was out-with WA so I can't give the link here. Solo ads aren't really recommended at WA (see Kyle's response in this thread https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/email-marketing/has-anyone-actually-had-success-with-solo-ads-or-safe-lists), but I know many people who've had success with them. You just have to be very careful about who you choose, you can message them and ask if they have a list suitable for you.
I did this, 2 people replied and said no, they didn't so there was honesty there.
I think it really depends on our solo ad copy, the targeted audience and the niche, Kathy, but yr results are great. :))
Btw, what is yr niche? I have used few years back for other affiliate products and I think I have 3 sales, but going forward I am also trying solo ads with the wa promotion. But I know it is not easy as it is a competitive niche.
This solo ad is for another program I'm in, still affiliate marketing. I get provided with the swipe email and affiliate link and the optins go into the sales funnel.
That is a good result, have not heard of this one thanks for giving us the run down and well done
If you've got a bit of money to invest it seems a good way to go, but as kennick says, do your homework. :)
I will thank you it is always good to hear from those who have tried things out helps narrow the list of possibilities, have a good day hoping these blue skies and sunshine will stay again
I have used solo ads and you're right you need to do your homework as there are a lot out there that don't deliver. Once you find one stick with them!
I'll def stick with this seller for some things, but have also found others. Udimi send out a weekly "movers and shakers" where you can see the top sellers and buyers. I also look at who the buyers are buying from, how many clicks and how often they buy from same seller. :)

Morning Kathy!
... don't know a whole lot about "solo ads", so how would they be different from a good PPC campaign with an option there as well?
I've run a couple of FB ads with poor results so far, however, it's a learning curve and I know there's a lot of tweaking to be done.
With a solo ad, a seller with a good list, (and is also continually adding to their list) sends your email with link (affiliate, optin etc) to however many people you buy the ad for. They have the experience to know which of their lists to send your email to, the good ones do anyway. They'll also tell you if your offer/optin is no good for their list and redo the email if they think it's necessary.
Now I have a bit of money coming in I plan to reinvest in some paid campaigns, will keep you updated!
I'm confused - if they are sending your email to a group of emails in their database, why would we already need to have a lot of subscribers ourselves?
I think I better study up on this.
