Click Farm busted in Thailand!
This is something rather disturbing because we KNOW there is much more of this going on.
On occasion someone will be caught but the majority are still doing it and getting away with it.

This is so sad actually because most of these guys have the equipment and capital to start REAL prosperous businesses, instead they are sinking to immoral standards and illegal activities!
Would love to hear some thoughts on this.

Disturbing. This seems like so many illegal "entities" are getting away with click farming. In Cambodia, they thought they could slip "under the radar", and $4400 per month USD is a bundle of money to them.
Yeah, can only imagine how much of this is going on right now as we speak. How much money is being funneled into illegal activities such as this.
That is similar to what happens with paid traffic. Although you do not need as elaborate a setup. A couple of computers to run 24/7 and a couple of autosurf accounts and you can be in business selling fake traffic.
That is why it is so important to be careful where you get paid advertising. My estimate and others by people who are good at tracking this is that as high as 60% of the traffic sold on the Internet is bots or click farms.
It is also why when you get good paid traffic you can do great with it.

You know?! Can you imagine though, these guys had 10 000 iPhones!! How much were they raking with the traffic business then?! My word, I would just sell the phones lol
yes, this is normal and the sim cards are easy to get in China or anywhere.
I travel in Asia a long time and believe me there are always ways.
yeah that is sad, the thing is that is just a tiny little operation, there are too many places like that to even count I'm sure.
With all the paid for traffic sites, paid for likes and paid for reviews, comments and ratings out there, its tough to compete on certain things.

Perhaps it could be possible to create some type of software or system that would make it easier to locate such activity.

You can actually get all of the software here in the USA (and most everywhere else).
This is one reason, as is stated below, that PAID traffic can, sometimes, be done this way by unscrupulous characters, so stay with the known PPC providers.
