Unless you have been hiding under a big fat rock recently you know that one of the biggest upward trends online is video.
Surveys state that by 2020, 82% of internet usage will be watching videos! In an average month 8 out of every 10 people, aged under 50 watch videos on Youtube. In fact, nowadays, 6 out of 10 people prefer to watch videos than watch TV. Staggering!
So, with that in mind, it makes absolute sense to start creating videos for your business. The trick is not to just make promotional videos but create educational ones as well. In fact we once heard it called edutainment!
Put them together on a well optimised Youtube channel and you will start to see a growing number of people coming to your business.
Marketing strategies come and go, but to miss out the video revolution will be a huge mistake for your business!
So, why do we say that video marketing is a must?
Well, it is work you do once that keeps on rolling day after day. In fact, you forget about stuff you have created until it brings you a sale, months maybe years later!
That is exactly what happened to us the other day!
I was checking our Amazon.com affiliate stats and I saw a rare sight in recent times!! A sale!!
This sale was for a pair of Blue Light Blocking Glasses. I had created a short video for them in April 2017!!! It is not even a niche that we are in anymore!
So, it proves that by creating short videos you can make sales way into the future.
It really is, set it and forget it!!

Though I really dread making video. Even if just screen casts. The sound of my voice may become a reason for people to stop watching so much video!
That is exactly what stopped me from doing videos up until this month! Now I have done 3 and feel fine about my voice. It is weird what we put up as reasons for not doing something.

This is something I need to get on board with! Thank you for the push in the right direction with this article, I have been avoiding the whole video scene and that is seemingly a huge mistake!
I have very little experience with YouTube, but my daughter loves it and can probably teach me a lot! and of course I could probably find a video on YouTube that shows me how to use it as well. That is the glory of that platform, I just need to get intouch with that glory.

Thanks for sharing Jonathan,good thing to do!Readers spend more time on your website when you can show them a video.I have videos related to my niche on my website.Since we are more inclined to relate to something we see; If what we see moves;then we are more effective.
