website with more than 1 Affiliate programs? For example, selling amazon products as well products on shareasale or cj or any other websites..

People love choices. There's nothing wrong (in my opinion) with linking to offers from multiple affiliate programs. I do it myself and have made sales through several different affiliate programs.

I don't think it would be a problem as long as the products are within reason within your niche.

I am currently at Course 2, Lesson 7. I have written content for about 3-4 pages and few sub pages. I have also collected some pictures that can be used all over the website. U

I so understand you jjjpp. These same sort of issues are holding me back. I have all of these components that I need to bring together.

I am not qualified to answer your questions because I have not launched a site yet, but I would like to contribute. This is just what I plan to do myself. I am not trying to give advice.

It seems like you are deciding exactly what products to promote. The experienced people I trust have told me to align my affilliations with my niche. Looking at your rank that's probabally going for something more than that.

Next I am going to have fun & build my site the best I can. Then I plan to put it out and invite the community to my site & I will ask the commuity for their feedback. Then go from there.

A kind of beta test. In fact I am going to indicate ni BETA 1.0 or something.

Thanks for letting me contribute. Best of luck to you & I will look forward to read of you success.

The real power of the WA program is you all, the community.

My advice: keep following the training and it will all come together for you. There is SOOO much more to learn. Take advantage of all the other courses, classrooms and live video classes too. You've just brushed the surface of the abundance of training offered to premium members.

I just went live with my site even with the minimal amount of content I have (3 posts, about page and privacy policy). I'm on course 3 and know there is still a lot more to learn and improvements to make on my site. Working on creating qaulity content at this point. It's a slow process but I know that if I keep following the training and applying what I learn it will soon pay off!
Here's my site in case you'd like to take a look: http://wellefficient.com

Best wishes,
Trevor

Keyword, Niche and Market Research

i did some keyword research on Jaaxy and keyword tool here, and then looked for the some of the good traffic keywords on google trends and it said "not enough search volume to

I am not sure, but I noticed that not every keyword tool looks as far as another, some only check in the first 250 pages and other tools look in the first 1000000 pages.

So. that could be a difference then....

But the keyword tool of WA and Jaaxy do not give the differences you describe in my experience...

Grtz,
Bert

am talking about the search volume, not the competition

Me too...

am not talking about the volume of pages you see or websites listed when a search is performed. i want to find how many times a keyword was searched for... what does that have to do with a tool going to 250 or 1000000 pages?

Ah ok, well some tools only check the keyword you entered in the first 250 pages of google and others will check let's say all the pages (10000000).
And there will also be checkers that check the first 1000 pages...

And again "I am not sure, but I noticed" (it is a feeling that I have because like you mention: there are differences between keyword tools, but I don't have any proof. It can be a completely other reason why there are those differences)

Grtz,
Bert

I still don't understand what difference it makes on checking 250 or 1000000 pages that google generates with any keyword. for example, if type a google search, drink orange juice. then, I check first 1000 pages or 100000 pages, how will the tool or I know that how many people searched for "drink orange juice" on google in USA or worldwide?

There you have a VERY good point! :-)
It is only the competition that varies in the theory I said.
Definitely not the amount of searches, maybe it can have an influence on traffic, but no, let's assume only competition indeed...

the very important thing google doesn't give is number of websites that are trying to rank for a particular keyword. It tells low, medium or high competition based on websites buying google adword ads for tht keyword, which can give some but not accurate idea of the keyword competition in organic space

I also tried google keyword planner for adwords where they tell you number of times a keyword was searched for in the last 12 months. There are some keywords for which the keyword planner gives no number whether the keyword tool here says it was searched for over 5000 times. So these could be pure errors and also makes it important to understand the algorithm behind the keyword tool to get how many times people typed for a particular keyword. I know google has stopped giving out data...

I understand you completely, and when you found the info, please share.... ;-)
But I am not gonna search for it...
I added actually today extra keywords in AdWords with their planner, but I didn't compare with another tool...
But know you mention it: indeed the results of searches were actually very low...

Grtz,
Bert

Yeps that is true, but I am already happy that you can choose from those 3...
10 years ago when you did an advert with google, there was no info at all actually....

Sure, I will let you know in case I find something. Am sure somebody here might have some answers...

I am sure they are, they give correct values for quoted search results.

keyword1 - Google trends: no volume, jaaxy: over 6000; keyword 2 - google trends: no volume, jaaxy: over 1000; keyword 3: semrush.com: 22,000, jaaxy: 6000... I mean this is huge difference swinging in both directions!!

I do not know how you use Google trends.

Go to Google instead:
- search for the keyword,
- go to the last page it gives,
- you will see the same number as KT.

I do not use jaaxy but I am sure it will be exactly the same.

what are you talking about google giving on the last page? Google trend only tells if a keyword popularity is increasing or not. but for some keywords, it tells that the search volume is not enough to display graphs. for the same keywords, jaaxy and keyword tool here, tell that it is searched with lot of volume. Also, for one keyword, semrush tells that it is searched over 20,000 times whereas keyword tool and jaaxy tell it is searched only a 6000 times...

To your first sentence: search in google as usual. It will give millions of results, but ignore this and go to the last page it gives in the list of results. You will see it is the same as in KT. As for the 'trends' cannot answer.

I did it and on the last page on any search results, the only number I see is the number of results that google found for my query. For example, at bottom of last page it shows "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 368 already displayed." and other number is at top "Page 37 of about 363 results (0.54 seconds) ". Where does anywhere it show how many people have searched for that keyword in last month or year or in US or any number related to number of times a keyword has been searched or typed by google users?

It shows you the number of competing pages for that exact keyword. Nothing more. And this number is the same as QSR and the corresponding number from KT.

that takes us back to my fist question, which is regarding the number of searches made and expected traffic, which are the first 2 columns in KT, nothing to do with competition or QSR

I was replying to your title, sorry if it was useless.

Just started working on my website, its gonna take time to get done. I have my domain at godaddy pointed to hosting here. How do I keep working on it, and not have it live?? Th

Hi Jipp,

Just save as draft, that is a button that is available until you publish...

But why not publishing, nobody will look to your site now, only google will start to index it and will see that you are working on it, wich google likes and by the time you have done your work, your site might be completely indexed and already have a good ranking...
Just for your information....

Grtz,
Bert

Thanks, that's definitely an advantage I didnt know of. But, I have not implemented google analytics or done anything in the google websmaster tools or anything to index pages. I did this on a website I worked sometime ago.

All those tools are not important now, it is just that google can start doing what it has to do, when you install those tools when your site is ready that is more then soon enough....

Google will index without those tools, you can follow up the indexing with those tools, and say that he has to restart, but you do not control the indexing with those tools, google just does what he think he has to do with or without those tools...
