Trendy Instagram Hashtags are all the RAGE these days, and I’ve recently learned that every Friday Instagram wants EVERYONE to have FUN.
Let me tell you Ladies and Gents, today is Friday TGIF - and right now the buzz on the street is every Friday is #FridayNight on Instagram!
So today after snapping this impromptu pic from a sidewalk café while walking around the city, this photo above is what I posted.
This IG trend definitely IS succeeding and I predict will continue.
After finding this shot by happenstance strolling around NYC and then posting this photo and writing a caption from my smartphone, within less than 2 hours, I had gained 12 NEW Likes and 21 NEW followers.
Not too shabby! TGIF everybody!!
IG Hashtags for Every day

Hashtags such as #FridayNight that are geared toward a specific day of the week are especially popular these days on social media- particularly Instagram - and they typically have a certain theme attached to them.
There are endless weekday social media hashtag trends right now as we speak, and the list is ever-growing.
On Instagram there are specific days of the week like Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday where we would like and SHOULD be taking advantage by using these special hashtags.

Here is a list of just a few examples:
#MeowMonday: This is the day when you can share your cute cat photos or even just a funny cat meme on Instagram. For cat owners and cat lovers, Monday is YOUR day.
#TransformationTuesday: Recently I’ve been seeing lots of peeps posting photos of themselves when they were younger and making side-by-side comparisons to show what they look like on the current day. These same posts also often share some other story about how they've grown and changed over time.
#WednesdayWisdom: Here is a great opportunity to give out inside tips by saving your true nuggets of wisdom for Wednesday. And write a lengthy Instagram caption if required.
#FridayFunday:This is an alternative hashtag that is currently being used to #FridayNight. Share some FUN photos, a witty caption, or go ahead and use this hashtag to brag about how much fun you're really having on Friday.
There are many, many more, and you can Google Search them.
So here is what I’ve now decided:
For my next Instagram experiment over the next month for every 1st and 3rd week, I will be using popular trending targeted IG hashtags as a “driving force” for my posting strategy during certain days of the week. During the alternate weeks, I will use my more conventional posting strategy and split test.
As a reminder, my conventional posting strategy as I mentioned in my previous popular post Instagram Made Simple Using Canva is what I will be writing the upcoming training on.
Use Trending Hashtags, Write Great Content and Build A Following

Hashtags used properly according to popular trends create wonderful opportunities to build a huge following,
They help numerous new people find you as you are sharing boatloads of photos and content with your friends and followers while you're on the go, as such they are an ideal way for posting content to increase your likes and engagement with your ever-growing following.
