I think that there is 2 things that you did wrong here all those years ago. As you already know one was the lack of keeping things tidy but at least you still had them all which was a great bonus as a lot of people would have ditched them, if not all certainly some.

I think though the reason you never bothered with the 5* reviews as the time was because the band was in it's Hey Day, everything was going well and you were getting lots of bookings so lots and lots of publicity at the time so everyone knew about Off The Hook and where they could find you if they wanted to book you. So, the idea of putting the reviews on the website was forgotten about.

Unfortunately, had you done them at the time you could have saved yourself a lot of time but at the same time you have achieved that victory now and have done all the hard work so well done.

JUST LET THAT BE A LESSON LEARNED LOL, do not put off till tomorrow what you can do today. xxx

"....do not put off till tomorrow what you can do today".
That definitely deserves some clown juice, my friend! Amen.

I have to think hard about that one but will let you know. Xxx

Chocolate Clown Juice please :P

Have to work out how I can get that one friend, Kaju gets the plain boring one and even that’s too much for him lol. Xx

Excuse me, I invented da juice....

I will ask Dr Fard if he can come up with some ideas on that one and start experimenting with "da juice" lol :0) xx

Yes, I've heard rumor that Dr Fard had been seen in the galaxy the past 14 days. He even did a "fly-by" via a PM (perpetual mind-bend) and stayed for a drink:)

Excuse me, who first mentioned clown juice? Like the AHOF, your clown juice is my Baby lol. Xxx

Great idea Stefan, look forward to seeing What Dr Fard comes up with. Xx

Rumors go around Dr. Fard has associations with aliens, wait I can remember he said something like he is looking for some alien juice, before he left for his "fly by", hmmm I wonder...... :0)

Good thing that long nose assisted you back into the AHOF on several occasions!

Were you sharing with him or does he not like clown juice lol. Xxx

That is a different lineage of juice, no human can consume that:)

I didn't know Cheryl is a member of the Arabian Horse Owners Foundation. :0)

Well his last experimental glue he worked on had some fly by effects, you can read more about that in an exclusive health article written by the Joker soon being published. lol :0)

Lol!! Glaisdale to be specific:)

Sounds like a special juice for McTeddy, we were already thinking of what a Teddy can eat and drink, since McTeddy can talk, there is an opening, but where does it come out? :0)

A very informative read indeed I would imagine!:)

Well we will know more very soon, got to go, a nerving McTeddy is pulling on my ears all the time, he wants attention, wait let's see if he can make a "fly by" too.... :0) lol

McTeddy will fly, see ya on the next one!

We sure will my good friend, lunch time. :P

Yes it was thank you and just as well you are good at telling whoppers so that it got long enough lol. xxx

No end to my talents Stefan lol. xxx

Not sure I really want to know the answer to that one lol. xxx

Will look forward to that story Stefan. Xx

You know what they say, "A whopper a day keeps the... (fill in the blanks)"

Huh, what one?

keeps the clown away? Right? lol :P

This will be an interesting challenge for you, to create an internal digestive system for Mr. McTeddy!

Good one, Stef!

Actually I will further say "...keeps the McClown away!"
The Burger King "whopper" Trumps The Ronald!"

Good one Stefan, love it but he likes to get his daily does of cheek so that would be no good lol. xxx

I would have to agree with you that Burger King has better chips and better burgers albeit in the UK the burgers are smaller and they are more expensive here too. xxx

That I can believe:)

I do have to agree with you friend that this is going to be an interesting challenge for both Stefan and poor McTeddy. Not sure that I want to hear what happens lol. xxx

What are you confused about here friend? xxx

I do want to hear how McTeddy gets around his digestive issues

Not sure??

Man you had a lot of leg work to get to a great final outcome. And by leg work I mean paperwork.

Tried and True

Elaine

Yep Elaine, that was an extreme amount of paperwork, but all worth it in the end!

Congrats on a job well done, (and a heck of a lot of work as well!). Great post, Kaju. Thanks. Carol

Thanks C, but not as much work s painting those kitchen cabinets:)

Maybe not. Thankfully they are finished finally. Still need to put the top coat on the countertops that I painted to look like granite. It's a neat kit that I enjoyed doing, but now it needs to be finished!

Photographers are scheduled for Monday 7/9, then the house will be online and hopefully get some showings quickly.

The window to sell where my house is, is short due to my road condition, which is horrendous. It's an old logging road that's only about 1.5 cars wide. It doesn't get any maintenance, and once it snows, the house probably won't be shown.

Wish you were here to give me some tips on decorating! It's a rustic cabin, and will stay that way, but I could use your advice on the color to paint the kitchen.

My sister says if I paint the walls white, it's too much white since there are white cabinets on 3 sides of the kitchen, and the frames of the French doors that are not glass and form the 4th side are white as well.

So I had planned to paint the walls a real pale gray. The curtains and tablecloth are white background with red/yellow/blue (oh no! not the dreaded 3 primary colors!) stripes forming a plaid, and a red ruffle on the bottom.

I made them many years ago, and I still enjoy them, so they are staying where they are. New owners can do the updating on the decor. But I want to paint the walls so they're clean and fresh.

The kitchen is open to the great room with a room divider that you can see through, and the living room is a gray paneling that resembles weathered drift wood in color. It blends great with the gray/brown/tan stone in my firewall and hearth for and the gray and black soapstone wood stove.

That's why I was thinking of a very pale gray for the kitchen walls, which are mostly covered by cabinets. There is very little open wall space. What's your opinon, Mr. Decorator?

Sounds like you have been really busy Carol!!! Good for you!

I like the idea of the kitchen walls being a pale gray with stark white cabinets, it's fresh and unobtrusive and blends well with your the living room gray paneling and the gray/brown/tan stone from the firewall and hearth as well as the gray and black soapstone wood stove.

Yes, very busy. Just not doing WA like I'd like to be doing. But this will be coming to an end soon, I hope. Photos are scheduled for Monday if they show up!

Thanks for your advice, Oh Wise One! I like the idea as well, have the paint already, and need to get busy painting, but probably won't get the mess out til after the pics are done on Monday. My realtor said the paint wouldn't show up that much in the pics anyway. I'm itching to get going on it so I can see how it looks, though!

Great!

Good Luck with the paint!

Thanks.

Pleasure for sure!

If you don't yet, I will happily return the favor when yours is up.:)

Thanks for sharing, Kaju.

Always a pleasure Rog!

That's a major undertaking finding all the bits of paper and records kept the old-fashioned way and bringing them into digital age. You must have been incredibly patient and determined to stay at it, Kaju. But then there is nothing more valuable than reviews from happy customers. You certainly know the game!

5-Star Reviews are the epitome of great testimonials Sammy. That time rummaging through all the mounds of paper was certainly well-worth the effort!

This was a monumental task, but still you had kept all the information from those overjoyed customers.
Excellent idea, we think, to connect by email instead of social media. It shows a more personal touch.
We look forward to seeing this Review Request Letter. You are so gracious to share that as it could be useful to many of us.
Thanks for this post, Kaju!

My pleasure as always C & P, thank you for reading this long post!
Review letter is coming shortly.

I will complete [edit] my comment when all meals are on the table Kaj! I believe it's a 'project' worth of doing. Those testimonial are definitely invaluable - it's high time to post it on your site where they belonged.

Wish you a great success with this 'project'.

As always, awesome post. Thank you.

Joe

Lol! Thank You Joe, enjoy that delicious meal with your family. When you are ready my friend, I will be waiting.

I love your book-length posts Kaju. How about 5 stages of happiness!

Thanks for reading all of them Mike, that takes me to the 6th stage! Coming from you, it definitely means alot to me.

I completely agree with this Kaju, thank you for sharing a great thought. :0)

This is just the tip of the iceberg Stefan, in about 30 minutes this post will be complete

Yeah I just saw it, why posting a small content and then add more later btw? Out of a Word processor so you save as published? lol :0)

Nah, its just the way I write sometimes. :)
