#MotivationMonday: A Story of Divine Inspiration
One's motivation to write a post, comment, or social media quote can manifest itself in many forms, and the uncanny mysterious timing in which one can receive such divine inspiration came to me earlier today from an unsuspected source.
Quite amazing actually, since coincidentally today is #MotivationMonday on Instagram.
Despite giving everyone some great trending IG hashtags lately, I suppose I never mentioned what an AWESOME trending Instagram hashtag #MotivationMonday happens to be, have I?
Well honestly, today for whatever reason I was so quite unmotivated to write so I wasn’t even thinking about it. Until I received this weird and wonderful PM from a stranger, leading to a true story of divine inspiration.
Here’s An Unlikely and UntoldStory
On Monday morning I was having an online conversation with one of the awesome Wealthy Affiliate members here who frequently writes comments on my posts, when I received this PM from a total stranger.
Recently I happened to write a most inspiring post citing the wonderful pay it forward culture that Kyle and Carson have created here at Wealthy Affiliate. Within this post I included an original quote that came to me recently which was:
“To be great, you must dowhat you set out to do, and help others by doing it.”
Here's the truth, when I opened up the PM from this total stranger, here is what she wrote:
“Your quote really resonated with me, so much that I had to create an image of it. Thought I would share it with you. Here it is.”
And she entitled the image “To Be Great.”
Suddenly my jaw dropped to the floor. I was in awe.
The Perfect "Monday Motivation" Quote
After recomposing myself – and resonating with a newfound glow of inspiration from this anonymous incredible person - I immediately sat in front of my computer, opened up Canva and recreated my quote with a slight paraphrase.
Within 10 minutes I posted this on Instagram:
And then it quickly dawned on me without having any sort of prior intention, this was the perfect Motivation Monday quote!
This was all confirmed within one hour after posting this quote, as my Instagram account received 31 New Likes and I picked up 17 New Followers!
Who Is this Person?
Keep in mind, this was from someone at Wealthy Affiliate who doesn’t know me, who never read or commented on ANY of my posts, never answered any of my comments or questions. Someone I have never conversed with, and have ZERO affiliation with.
She also asked me that she preferred to remain anonymous, and I will honor her wish.
Who is this person? What inspires her abundant generosity?
What motivates her and makes her “tick”?
The Embodiment of the Quote
Ladies and Gents, this total stranger represents the absolute embodiment of the quote that I made,the quote that she was so moved by that she felt compelled to generously create an image and share it with me.
Even if only to post this quote anonymously in a PM without self-fanfare.
She truly represents the CORE of what Wealthy Affiliate is all about.
Did she have to write such a commendable and extremely generous comment let alone create such an inspiring and honoring image? No.
Did she have to even READ my original post where I made the quote she made an image of in the first place? No.
Did she even seek credit for doing such a noble act? Heck, no
She is a selfless person who categorically wants to help others.
She is altruistic by nature, and seeks to help others through pure good will without expecting any return.
She is someone who profoundly understands the message of my quote, and “lives” that message at its deepest level.
She is someone who wants to recognize others for their good accomplishments.
She is someone who strives to inspire others to do amazing things.
Above all, she is someone who devoutly believes and lives the pay-it-forward system that Kyle and Carson created.

Thank you for your compassion to acknowledge the same goodness you embody, and your desire to help others in the community.

It seems some quotes can hit you that hard. I print them and hang them above my computer.
Yesterday someone motivated me to clean my book room when they placed an order from me. I had these books listed for over a year. The last time I had a sale was on Halloween, the anniversary of my second husband's death. This perked me up for the day even though the day is usually gloomy. One of our past-times was selling on eBay and it brought back some joyous memories when he was excited about the simplest of sales.
Then yesterday on my birthday I made another sale. I was excited because the sale could be added to proceeds for me to Go Yearly in June. It was like a birthday present from a stranger.
Strangers have a tendency to make you stop and pay attention for the simple fact they don't have to do what they do. Just a random act of kindness can make your day.
