Should I get a haircut, Ladies and Gents?
Am I really starting to look like my dear lost Cousin IT?
Will I need to start doing yoga standing on head to keep my sanity?!
“Get a haircut….get a haircut!
I’ve heard this annoying call so many times in my life!
Enough already!
Now it’s time for you to “Get a Haircut!” she cried out!
It now even follows me all the way to WA…….
Arrrghhhhh, again?
How did we get BACK on this topic?!!
There’s has been SO much hoopla lately about its length and unruliness……
But truth be told I actually LOVE the way my locks feel as they ‘flow” down my neck and over my shoulders, and along the skin down my back. There is a sensuality to it.
And since I've made a full-time living working for myself for a long time and I don’t have to work or answer to any boss, that is not an obstacle either.
Maturity? Well, no one ever accused me of being mature, so no worries there! Lol!
True, it sometimes can be a bit distracting – especially like today when we were relaxing having lunch on Governers Island, and a strong GUST of wind blew my hair sideways in my face, forcing me to spill my salad!!
Such occurrances are occasional minor inconveniences.

Well, if you must know Ladies and gents, I have an even more compelling reason for not chopping my locks.
I didn’t want to tell anyone, but the cat's been let out of the bag; right now I am letting my hair grow for a possible part in a movie.
Then after the film is over, when I finally do decide to cut it (no promises, of course), I plan to donate my mane to Locks of Love to raise donations for childhood cancer patients.
I believe in this very noble cause.
I’ve had all lengths of hair in my day: short, very short, long, very long, in-between, pony-tail, man-bun – so once the movie is done making any type of change will not bother me.
But I have even better arguments as to why I’m perfectly happy keeping it “organic.”
Wanna heear them?

7 GREAT Reasons Why Having Unruly Long Locks is an Advantage
Here are some 7 reasons WHY having a longer unruly mane can truly be an advantage:
- Whenever I'm Out Camping! I don’t have to worry about bear attacks or moose droppings, as dangerous creatures living in the forest will think I am a wild animal.
- My dark locks now appropriately matches the length of mane of my famous Golden Arches clown counterpart.
- Whenever he goes on vacation and I need to play the clown, all I have to do is dye my hair “red” and put on the red and yellow suit for the kids!
- ToLiNoLi can continue forever calling me his “favorite rockstar”
- I can wear androgynous clothing, and fit into any NYC neighborhood!
- It’s easy making self-excuses NOT to cut it.
- I save $60 every 2 months that I reinvest into my Wealthy Affiliate yearly membership!
The last reason is definitely the BEST reason!
Get a Better Haircut
Now here's the clincher, and as I've always mentioned Ladies and Gents, there is a silver-lining in every cloud!

Do Not cut it! Once you get to my age all men seem to think they’ve got to keep the “Wall Street” look even after they retire. I’d love it if my guy would grow his beautiful silver hair long but he won’t even consider it.
I say if you’ve got it flaunt it...you may not have it forever!

My husband is 10 years younger than me but has salt and pepper hair. He started growing it last year when we were in Costa Rica and has decided he will not cut it, even when we go to Mexico in October. It is now long enough to put in a pony tail but more importantly, like you he plans to donate it as well for cancer. I love it on him!
I say keep letting it grow!!

I went to my sister's house for lunch today and as I was sitting there I said to her I think I will get a haircut or I could leave it till tomorrow. I said this as I was about to check my emails.
I logged onto my email and the FIRST WA notification message I see read "Get a Haircut" :-)
So, maybe time for a haircut! :-)

Nooooo! My husband plays guitar in a band (just a garage band these days) his hair is down his back, and his beard is past his chest, I love it, DON'T do it. lol

I want to be strong like Samson but there's no way to get that long hair because it does not fit the situation for me so I always take a good hair cut .
