I need to verify 4 domains I am considering selling. I was given the following instructions and Id code but I don't understand how to do this.

Copy your personal ID from

you will need to contact sitesupport to add these fields to your records....
pass this message onto them and they should be able to help you....

Thanks, I tried that first but it doesn't give the option to contact them for domain names, only websites. I guess I have to get creative :).

They have this little disclaimer as their response:

"Thanks for reaching out! Based on your question, it looks like your issue is more about domain verification and DNS configuration rather than a technical server problem. Our SiteSupport team focuses on technical issues such as website downtime or server errors. We have a vibrant Community filled with experts in domain management and DNS settings who might be able to offer more targeted advice. Would you like to post your question there to get more assistance?"

So, where are the experts that can answer this, please?

Mary Ann

i'll leave this alone - as i say you don't get access to the dns records with managed hosting....
it looks like they are tightening up and using ai to answer some of the questions...
i would have said yes to is it about websites and gone through like that...
if there is html snippet that can be used instead then you can add that to your head section easily or add a file to the root via ftp...
but i am no expert in these matters...
good luck...

Is this plug-in still necessary? For some reason I deactivated it, and when I just went to activate it, they wanted me to pay.

Thanks,
Mary Ann

No. Sites hosted here have SiteProtect to moderate spam. Check it's toggled on. Go to Site Manager, select "details" for the site you have Akismet on and scroll down to SitePlus+. SiteProtect should be green to indicate it's turned on. Delete Akismet.
