Do wood pellet grills offer more flavor?
Are portable wood pellet grills expensive?
Do portable wood pellet grills require electricity?
Are portable wood pellet grills

Hi, Jerry

I like the old charcoal grills. To me, the food cooks and tastes better. We have a charcoal and a gas grill.

Maybe I’ll check out a wood pellet grill.

Thanks for the idea! 😎

Frank 🎸

I started out on a charcoal grill but after I was gifted a pellet grill from one of the manufacturers, I converted to a pellet grill. I was pleased with the results. I no longer have to baby the charcoal to keep it at the right temperature, especially for the long smokes.
Jerry

It sounds like a winner, Jerry! 😎

Frank 🎸

I don't know a lot about them. But my son has one and loves it.

They are great, easy to use, and in the long run more affordable than traditional grills. I am glad your son loves his pellet grill.
Jerry

Not sure what your question is….doesn’t seem WA related?

-Mike

Have you tried asking ChatGPT?

They are durable and offer great flavor depending upon which wood pellets are used. They may cost more than a portable charcoal grill but give the same type of flavor and you don't have to worry about the ash causing a fire. Portable wood pellet grills are built to last and stand the test of time.

How can we help?

I have already found the answer. Thanks for your help.
Jerry

That's awesome :) Super welcome

This is the post I was referring to https://thrillforthegrill.com/wood-pellet-grill-smoking-an-uncured-ham-a-flavorful-guide-to-perfectly-smoked-delights/. Do you see the AI in

CopyLeaks says it is a human text.

Copyleaks is correct. Only the structure of the post is AI.
Jerry

I believe I do. It seems that your original content is heavily augmented by AI text using highly descriptive words and sentences, and also random explanations of processes that almost read like a dictionary definition in some cases. I may be wrong, but certain sentences just stand out to me like that and seem a bit unnatural in the flow of the writing.
James.

All of the text written in in this post were my own as well as the sentence structure.
Jerry

These are a few that stand out to me..let me know, as I'm curious as to whether or not AI may help me at all.

You also have at your fingertips the seasonings to have a spicy ham that few could imagine.

You weigh your options for the proper seasonings for creating that mouth-watering ham.

As you smoke your ham low and slow, you will find the smells coming from your grill increase your anticipation of the feast to come from your efforts.

There are numerous methods of preserving food today such as refrigeration. Brining meats is still popular today because of the cost.

Most often an uncured ham has no added preservatives that you are trying to avoid

Your desire to create amazing, flavorful meals drives you to satisfy your guest’s appetites.

Well then I'm confused, what AI influences are you asking about then Jerry?

Each of those examples are the way I write normally. Where AI helped is in the structure of the post.

I am trying to find out which image selection ranks best on a blog post png or jpeg. I have researched and found mixed results.

google prefers webp - but failing that jpg and as small as possible file size ...
images are one of the worst bits of most websites for increasing sitespeed...
i will now crunch them down as small as i can before uploading them...
i tend to use webp - but have fonud linkedin refuses to recognizre this format - so just be aware that even though it has been out for over 10 years not everyone has adopted it...
png if you need a transparent background - but they are the largest of the three files sizes above...
which ranks better - the one that helps your page loading speed...

Looks like you got your answer Jerry. For what it’s worth, I use jpeg too.
Bux

I have used jpeg for years. I was counseled to change to png because that is what Google prefers. As I stated earlier when I researched it the information was ambiguous at best.
Jerry

Hmm! I think I'll carry on with what I know works for me. If you find out a definitive answer, do publish your findings for all of us, cheers.
Bux

Once I get a solid answer I will post it and the reasons why.
Jerry

I'm not sure if tis is relevant, Jerry, but I always size my images to 600 X 450 and have never had an issue!

Jeff

Thanks Jeff,
I have been using 225X225 but found that was wrong for my featured images. I was told to go to 1600X840. I am not sure but I feel this is too large.
Jerry

I do too, Jerry, but you can try it out, for sure!

Jeff

Hi, Jerry, I always convert my images to the format 'Webp" using the program 'freeconvert.com'. This format works much faster, takes less space, and gives the best quality.

I use smush to optimize my pics. This allows them to open as the reader scrolls the page and not before. It helps loading speed as well.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi, Jerry, thanks for the tip. And is that a plugin or a website?

It is a plugin. You can have either free or paid.
Jerry

Thanks, Jerry.

Hi, Jerry

It's not really a question of which image ranks best but faster loading images will improve your user experience and Google PageSpeed Insights performance.

Jpg images are smaller than png images, but png images can look better. I recommend you generally choose jpg over png to improve your website loading speeds.

For the fastest loading, I serve all my images in WebP, which is very high quality.

Frank 🎸

Thanks for the info. I normally jpeg or jpg but I was recently told to use png. I remember a class that Jay had where he specifically said to use jpeg or jpg.
Thanks,
Jerry

Yes, stick with jpeg/jpg on your website unless you're using a chart or graph.

Be sure to use an image compression plugin. I like Imagify the best. It gives awesome compression with very high-quality results.

Consider serving your images in WebP.

Frank

I will be researching WebP. I had not heard about it before today. It seems to be what most people are using.
Thanks for the help.
Jerry

Anytime, Jerry! 😎

I offered comments on a website that requested comments. They selected all of the areas for comments to be given. In the discussion of a topic, a person should be able to leave

I have had the same problem except I am asking questions to move the discussion forward with a Socratic approach. That did not work for me either. I am lost on how to provide comments myself. I get rejected about 50% of the time if not more.

Giving comments at times can be more of an art form. I try to give comments that are supportive and informative. I have found that some people do not like anything that disturbs their belief system. Having the opportunity to give constructive comments will normally make the person asking for comments to be more open to the meaning you are trying to convey to them.
Jerry

Thanks

Have you noted this clearly as an opposition - I would assume it is entirely to the receiving party whether they want to accept or reject your comment.

I responded to their post with a discussion of what they had posted. It seems all too often that if a person dislikes a comment that rather learning from the comment they will simply disallow the comment. I have comments on my posts that I sometimes disagree with but I look at it as a learning experience to make my posts better. Rather than disallow we should try to learn from comments.
Jerry

I hear what you are saying, i would probably follow your lead however ultimately some folks may accept, others reject.

I suppose it would be constructive to reply back, it will not hurt their rating or ranking, it all depends on context and how relevant.

Do you know who that individual is? Perhaps like discuss in a PM, merely a suggestion, nothing else.

I will try to reach out to them on a PM but I do not expect to receive a reply. I will just accept that some people only want to hear their viewpoint only. They are the ones who will miss out on learning and growing. I have came across this in the past. It is just frustrating to see people be so shortsighted and then wonder why they are not more successful.

I have received very few emails in the last 2 days. I normally average between 75 and 100 per day. I am now receiving less than 20 per day.
Jerry

Are you referring to website emails or emails from WA.

As for WA emails, sometime we have to check our setting at
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/account/notifications. Somehow the setting changes once in awhile..

Still the same.
Jerry

Hi

I would check my credentials

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/email

If your webmail or forward are correct and still having an issue, I suggest reaching out to site support

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

However, if you are currently receiving however few so it could may be okay or some other issue perhaps.

I was trying to get to site support and it was put into the community instead. I have changed none of my credentials.
Jerry

Okay hope you figure it out sooner.
