What kind of day did I have? You tell me.

I woke up at my usual time of 6:00 am. I turned on my coffee pot and watched some news. I grabbed my pot of coffee that my wife had thoughtfully put together for me and went outside to our gazebo and watched the sunrise and listened to the birds. There was a light breeze blowing and the birds were in full chorus and the squirrels were playing tag. My dog was just laying beside me waiting for me to give her a command. I said my morning prayers, did my devotional and read my scripture. What kind of day did I have?

I went inside and greeted my wife who was now awake(more or less) and handed her a glass of juice to help her start her day. This was around 7:30 am. We talked for a while and decided to have a banana-strawberry bread she had made the night before. We sat quietly for a few moments and talked about the day to come and what our plans for it were. I did some yard work that I had been putting off. What kind of day did I have?

At about noon, I started preparing the grill for our lunch. I grilled chicken breast coated with garlic parmesan and dredged potatoe wedges in a dry ranch dressing mix. I placed this on the grill for about 45 minutes. I took this off the grill and carried it inside to be served with broccolli and cut corn. We had a light white wine to go with our meal. What kind of day did I have?

We took about an hour off doing nothing except listening to the birds sing and watch the squirrels play tag. We also visited our green babies( garden and flowers) to see how they were progressing. What kind of day did I have?

At about 3:00 pm, I came inside to get started on WA. I know it was late but the peace and serenity that I experienced with my wife and best friend was worth more than I can say. So tell me, What kiind of day did I have?
