How you perceive things
Today, I had an amazing experience. I went on live chat for the first time. I was expecting it to be full of rude people because of some earlier posts that I lhad read. I was blown away by the willingness and help I received by the members there. I cannot remember their names.
I had tried to use fetch as google and was told by Google that my URL did not exist. This totally unnerved since I had been working on this site for almost a year. The people who helped me were fantastic and extremly helpful. They checked for my site and found it was there and indexed. This blew me away with how quickly they responded and offered solutions to the problem I had been experiencing. THEY WERE AND ARE GREAT PEOPLE. They truly examples of WA. I am not sure all of them were ambassodors or not. That is not the issue. They truly cared that I had a problem and wanted to help.
I can only say that those people who had a bad experience in Live Chat were short-changed by the people who were in Chat at the time. I truly feel for you. I will retake the classes I have already taken and start being in Live Chat to pay it forward to someone who needs it. That is one of the great things about this community. Whether it is Live Chat or the Community we are all asked to help. If you find it is too difficult to help or belittle someone then Live Chat is not for you and please do us all the service of not being negative. That only shows how petty and small you are. We need good honest caring people in Live Chat and the Community.

Jerry what an insightful post, thank you, I have not been into live chat area for a while. Primarily because there were two or three people having a strong disagreement. I should not have let that a couple of bad experiences, discourage me, Thanks for your reminder. Hope to see you in live Chat in the morning I enjoy your positive attitude.

You are right of course, people in life are a mixed bag... and so are people that are in Live Chat at any given time. I have seen some rude new members and some rude existing members...… but mostly I see LOTS of helpful people. thanks for sharing.
To begin with, I am happy for you Jerry. You are a very nice guy and deserve to be treated accordingly.
That said, I am quoting Glenys because she said it best: people in life are a mixed bag and that goes both for Live Chat and the whole community. I have had my fair share of encounters with rude people and I would not give them the time of day, but most members here are as helpful as they come.
Save for a couple of quick questions, I have steered clear of Live Chat for at least two months now, but if you are going to attend it on a somehow regular basis, I will pop up more often.
I am very glad that they were able to help you. I have had nothing but a great experience here at WA. I can be a little annoying at times because I do not know how to explain very well but I have a slight learning disability that causes it and seizures, but no matter the problem or case, everyone here is absolutely wonderful.
Thank you and I know that you will do an awesome job at it as well. I try, but sometimes I get confused.
Good to know your experience was positive Jerry as there have been some rude people there and its not ok here in WA that's for sure

They are everywhere. I have been with WA for 16 months and have always gotten help when needed.

I would have to agree Jerry. This is NOT the place for negative comments. If you are looking for argument then look else where.
That is why WA tries to instill a positive attitude in us and there are several who blog about having a positive attitude.

Yes, there is Hope. SOmetimes a few negative people get caught up in there from time to time. Rare but it is what it is. Glad to see you had a good experience. I have 200 pages of notes I got mostly from chat. BE careful not to spend too much time in their cause it'll eat at your site time.............Scotty B ♫

I haven't used Live Chat heavily, but when I have gotten involved it has been a positive and helpful experience.
It is too bad how a few folks can be so destructive and rude (much like the world, I would say).
But Live Chat to me is another great benefit of Wealthy Affiliate.

Hi Jerry -- some time ago -- there was a Magi King who was on and it made the Live Chat room a lot of fun & enjoyable to learn as well, at the time, the Live Chat was also affectionately known as The Lounge-- the place where you can meet friends, relax, and unwind ... chill ... and also enjoy some virtual 'refreshments' on tap or made to order so speak ... it really depends on who's on ... it was a really fun -- lol place for quite some time ...
