I slept well last night after a long and Terrific Tuesday!
I woke up to a couple of eBay sales. They are so rare these days that I have finally located both of the items. I will get them packaged up and will ship them tomorrow, so that was a welcome surprise.
Monica called this morning and we talked for about 45 minutes, so that was nice too!
We conversed during the morning foray into the Wealthy Affiliate Community. That foray went well, and is the way that I start every single new day!
Kitty even popped in for a minute or two. Her presence is always appreciated.
My mother also called and her sister is evicting her in September, but my mom plans to be out by the end of the month. We'll see how that goes. Dealing with family can sometimes be difficult. I will likely talk to her later this evening too.
I will soon be packaging up the items that sold on eBay for shipment in the morning. That should start tomorrow morning off on a good note too.
There has also been some editing done on my Kindle Vella Story #2, Episode #7.
If all goes well, it should be published this evening!
As I was chatting with Monica on the phone again, I received a call to go unlock a house that I unlocked last year, so I went and did it, and got paid. That was nice.
The drive over there was quite pleasant too!
I'll have to cut this post way shorter than I wanted to. I've got emergency issues concerning my cell phone, while transferring data from my old one. It has been, to put it mildly, a nightmare! I will get it taken care of, but it might be a long night!
I'll do a small update post if everything gets rectified. There just seems to be too much hitting me all at once.

Some days are good, some days are bad. and then we have the very bad days. I'll tell you what I do Maria. I make myself do something positive that moves my business the way that I want it to move. It might only be small, almost significant, but being able to say " I DID SOMETHING USEFUL" is so powerful.

I was happy to get the job, Marioi, but my day derailed when I tried to activate a new cell phone to replace my ailing one though. All was eventually saved though.
Don't worry about falling behind--we all do. It is par for the course of life--especially at this time of year!
I'll enjoy it when I can later.

Hi Jeff,
Talking about locks, I will be replacing our front door setup with a digital deadbolt lock. My wife has difficulty using a key to get in from the outside and getting out by having difficulty twisting the knob.
To make it easy for her I shall be using a bottom lock with lever handles only with no locking mechanism requiring a key.
I find it strange that electronic locks are only made for the deadbolt and not for the other lock below.
The original door has a metal panel on which the original locks lay. I will have to remove this panel so that the new locks can fit without a gap between the back face and the door.
Prep work always seems to require more effort than the actual part replacement. Much like in cars ha.
For you this is all in a days work.

Proper preparation prevents piss poor performance.
If its any consolation, I get everything laid out and ready for the next job or phase before I start. Its very rare for me to make it up as I go along. I can if I need to in an emergency but generally like the easy ride.
You're doing the right thing.
It's a pity they don't make foot operated locks for folk that can't easily turn a handle. Maybe Jeff will invent one.

I hope you got the phone problem sorted out. Modern-day tech can be a nightmare at times. Can't live with it and can't live without it!
By the way - be careful taking pictures of the road in your car until the DL issue is resolved. In the UK it is illegal to use a mobile whilst driving (unless it's hands-free) and a traffic cop would pull you over if he saw you using your mobile to take pictures when driving.

She WAS doing filing.
Monica's oldest daughter got the phone issue solved for the most part.
I'm always careful when snapping an image whie driving. I know what you mean.
Still working on the DL issue, but the Smart Switch option with the older phone being non compliant, that ate up the rest of the day!
