I have 47 new articles submitted and indexed with no traffic in the last 60 days. when i go into the site rank tool, none of them show up in top 20 even after jaxy shows 0 -10

My dear friend,

It seem your articles maybe index but 20/40 page position in Google, maybe your article have too high competition.

My advise is if you have too high competition, like 80 Qsr or 50 Qsr. Ur article is 1,000 words but others article is 1500-200 words unique and quality words.

Even though your article is 1,000, but if your article is more unique or more quality than probably you can uprank your competition.

My advise to you is don”t write 1,000 words, But write 1,500 words or above. Yes, I wrote about almost 30 posts article but the ranking is too bad. I feel disappointed.

Then, I will try to write 1500 words, My traffic is 33 users.

If you want more traffic, write more words Remember 1500 words or above.

It fine you can write 1,000 words..... You can rank high.. But aim for 30 Qsr or lower. .

But you write 47 articles & it less traffic probably your competition is too high. ..

Remember if your competition is too high, you have to aim for 1500 words or more.

Have I solve your problem?

My QSR is 0-30 and I do not get any traffic or even one click. I wonder if I set up my SEO properly ? thank you for your suggestions I will use them

You are well covered here with some excellent advice, and guidance.

Please let us know if you still have any questions.

Indexing is one thing ranking is another. Indexing just means your content is in the Google search index. It's like a book being added to a library.

However, to see traffic generated from your articles they need to be ranked on the first page of Google. If not you're not going to see much if any traffic.

Another thing to do when doing your keyword research using Jaaxy or any keyword research tool is don't rely on the QSR score as an indicator of low competition.

The QSR score is showing the competition regarding that exact keyword, it's not showing the strength of that competition against other websites.

You need to go to Google and see what websites you are competing with. If they are high authority websites then that means that keyword will be harder to rank for, if at all.

Ideally, when you do your research regarding a keyword if you see UGC (user-generated content) and that is sites like Reddit, Quora, and such ranking on the first page.

This is a good indicator that the keyword you're researching has a higher probability of ranking on the first page.

Also if also see websites that are ranking with low DA (domain authority) it's also a good indicator that your content can rank on the first page.

Thank you that is great information and I see I have alot to learn ! I will have to find a way to get through it !

You're welcome, I also want to mention the more UGC and low-authority domains you see on the first page the better as it increases the opportunity for your content to rank on the first page.

Hi - Roope is your referrer and offered one on one support when you joined.

But, of course, any of us would be happy to help, and offer advice.

The most important aspect is your keyword research, and if the majority of your posts have very low competition, then perhaps you have misunderstood the process.

Is all your content original, nothing copied and pasted?

If you started your site when you joined WA, then at 10 months old, 47 posts is not a lot of content.

Or maybe it is a new site and hasn't had time to build up trust and authority.

However, I understand it can be difficult to find the time for your website when you have caring responsibilities.

As Eric says, there are a lot of variables that go into seeing any success.

I will have to check with Roope ! Thanks for your advice. My articles are original and are not copies, they have very good content. it is a new site so I will keep working on it until I get results i want . thank you again !

There’s lots of variables here from your SEO practices to the keyword research you do to the authority sites ruling the top 10 for those keywords, etc…

Can you tell me where to find a 1 on 1 mentor ? Is there a link for that on wealthy affiliates ?

You may reach out to Roope, your WA assigned coach

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/roopekiuttu/profile

You will be in very good hands with Roope!

Jeff

Hey Kevin,

It appears that Roope sponsored your entry to the Wealthy Affiliate platform: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/roopekiuttu/profile.

Scrolling down your profile, to the very bottom, was how I was able to find that for you.

There USED to be an easy to find link to our "Mentors" but I do not see one any more.

Hope you find this helpful.

You can still find your sponsor or support coach under the Help tab under Premium Coaches 😎👍🏼

Ahhhh, thank YOU Eric, though I see my sponsor has his name well below his profile image. Though there is a link to his profile when I clicked on his profile picture.

Thank YOU for setting the record straight because I could NOT find it as easily as it was on the previous version of this platform... and, now I know. :-D

Hello Injun!

I am not sure if you are seeking a mentor because of frustration or challenges with training. If that is the case, I understand. Sometimes as I was in training, I felt as if I wanted to be in a classroom to get clarity. I felt alone.

In any case, as @feigner said, if you ask questions, this community will jump in to help you. There are some who will offer assistance to you in PMs. You can also click on the magnifying glass in the tabs and ask questions there. You will be rewarded with blogs, tutorials, and training that may help with what you are seeking.

I am wishing you victory as you progress on the platform.

Hazel

My name is Kevin and I am a newbie. I am also developing my long term business plan at Wealthy Affiliates . I have been at WA for about 7 weeks, I would like to know ,What is

Provide quality succinct content worthy of your visitors attention, this way it will looked up in the search engines and it would attract more engagement.

But Diane got you well covered here.

Thank you for that information. I will definitly try to achieve that !

Write well, interestingly and truthfully about a needed subject.

Thank you for your comment. That is great advise and i will use it !

All I can say is follow Diane's advice, keep at it and be patient. Backlinks from high-quality sites can also help but backlinks from low-quality sites are worse than none at all. Best to leave that aspect until you are starting to rank organically.

Hi - unfortunately, you are at the mercy of Google, and its a slow process.

Each post you write has to be found and indexed.

Following that, Google has to rank your posts, by comparing them to the websites that are already on page 1, targeting the same keyword.

It needs to decide if your posts answer what people are searching for, if they are more informative, better researched, more up to date.

Unfortunately, this takes at least 6 months.

Google does not trust brand new websites and is reluctant to rank them highly in case they are abandoned.

All you can do for the first few months, is write as much as possible, using low competition keywords.

Thank you that is very informative and honest ! I appreciate thst and I will work to achieve that !
