Little Advice: if you are selling something, do a follow-up!
Since few months, I'm offering on my blog some custom design services (for banner) and banner advertising packages.
The shop is quite on fire. And it's going great.
Few days ago, I was watching my e-shop logs and I noticed there was quite a bunch of people who had fully completed their carts and filled in their information before leaving the page without taking action.
I though it would be quite interesting to learn more about that and contacted them by email with all details to know what happened and offering them help if needed.
The message was something like:
Hello [Full Name],
I noticed you tried to place an order on my store on [date].
From the page: [service page]
Just sending a short email to be sure everything is ok.
If you met an issue or have pre-sales ask, let me know - I would be pleased to help! :)

Guess what happened?
About 50% of them logged back in my website and completed their purchase.
That make me feel totally stupid about the fact I missed so much business skipping that until now!
Don't make the same mistake: If you are selling something and have logs about people activities, take the time to check everything - it's a great opportunity to engage with your visitors and generate more business! :)
That could make the difference between a shop going great, and doing AWESOME!
Have a great day!

That's great info. To get a 50% return from a follow up email. It used to be a in Direct Mail 2% reply was great. Way to go.
We get interrupted in life. I often "forget" to complete an order. The stores that get my biz are the ones who send me a reminder email with something like. . . "Did you forget?" or "You left something in your shopping cart." Good job!
Yeah that's how things goes Carla! :)
Follow up is the key and I'm sure there is bunch of people forgetting about this (like me until few days ago) so it was good to make a reminder! ;)
Thanks and Have a great day Carla.

Yes I can relate to that because I was an ebay seller and there were a lot of people that do not finish their cart checkout. But in the case of ebay they do all that stuff for you. Good to know going forward though. One more thing am I able to get into your banner ad selling without buying a product. I do not need banner ads as I use WA stuff.
But I would not rule out selling ads like you do

Concerning banner advertising / banner design, if you head to "Make Money" tab you will find a place where you can generate your affiliate links for reselling with commissions (10%). There is even some subscription plans so you can get some recurring affiliate commissions! ;-) Feel free to contact me with private messages if required!

Great Job, that is what business is all about.
Connect with customers, let them know they are dealing with real people.
You are welcome, Melody! When I saw how it helped I though like sharing it as some WA folks may be doing the same mistake! :)
All the best - Have a great day,
Tanguy
