Tons of emails from WA

Hi guys.

Seems like I'm being sent a new email every time one of the people I follow writes a new blog. Though there are many interesting blogs here , this is too much ,,,

Any way to stop this?

Regards
Robert !

Thx for replying. It's enough for to get notified when i log in to WA. I get so much emails already. Also thx to Adi2008 for a good idea. Cheers all !

Hey Robert, With notifications you're going to be kept in the loop with what is happening at Wealthy Affiliate. For example if you have notifications on right now you will know that I just replied to you. If you are using WA as it is meant to be used, then you'll be asking questions and getting the help you need in a very timely manner. Without notifications you just won't know when that help arrives!

You have full control though. From every email that we send you there is a link to manage your notification settings. This same management is available in your Account Settings page (In the main menu). Here is a link to my post all about notifications, how you can benefit form them, and how you can control them.

Talk to you soon. -Carson

PS: I'm reading this blog because I got a notification to my email this morning and came directly here. I get notified when people that I am following make a blog post.

I turned off some of the notifications as well after my email account went into overdrive....lol.

I think the email thing is great, but I knew to immediately turn it all off. I'm not really interested in getting emails from WA since I'm usually on it anyway. I get enough emails as it is.

Personally I like to receive all notifications into my Inbox. If you setup a filter (aka mail rule) you can get them all re-directed into a specific folder e.g "WA Alerts". Then, each day you can quickly scan what activity there's been within WA and pick up on anything that interests you.

Alternatively, you can do what morlandroger is suggesting and turn off some or all notifications.

Yes, I'm reading this because I got notified via email LOL...
and what morlandroger says below re: account settings..;)

Go to account setting, notification settings, edit and then untick the boxes you do not want.

Thanks for this tidbit of info. Unticked the first two.
