Mentorship is crucial for success!
I was reading the blogs of Jeff and Stefan and had to write a few lines... Before I do this I like to provide here the two blogs:

Mentorship is and was crucial in my life since i can think. In my youth there were two or three adults very important for me, aside my parents. In the acting school it was the improvisation teacher who was my mentor for all processes during that time. For business it was the director of the Häbse Thearter his name is Hansjörg Hersberger and he was a really great mentor to me.
To build my practice I stayed with my mentor a much longer time. A tough mentor, expecting a lot from me until I grew to the point that I was able to give supervision to my mentor. That was the time I had to find a new mentor and I found him.
In different coachings and short videos I spotlight the way to find a mentor in different ways. First of all find someone who surely has already what you wish to have. If your goal is to be millionaire and you are broke, then you will under normal circumstances not be able to be along with a millionaire. And you will be able to find someone who developed already a few steps in this direction an is living the way already. Follow this person until you have learned how to apply this knowledge in your life. Then go forward to find the next who is still in your reach but has again already more developed what you like to be. With the time you will find yourself automatically along with millionaires because you developed the skills to be able to be part in this kind of life. What ever your dreams are go and find your mentor for it. From time to time it needs more than one. For example when it needs authorities from different niches.
Stefan, Jeff and me are working together on the abundance project and the last days Stefan asked us in a Skype meeting to be part of a training he likes to post in about 8 weeks here on WA. The topic AUTHORITY and how to reach it. We loved the idea and of course we are onboard...
Keep in mind:
A mentor is an authority and to become an authority you need a mentor.
This just as tiny spice... more you will get when the training is prepared...

After my expirience it is very beneficial and in ideal combination it is beneficial for both... For the mentor and for the mentee... ;-)
It makes sense to have a mentor have read Stefan's posts and look forward to his up and coming training
This will become an interesting joint venture from Stefan Jeff and me. I am also very excited to work on it in teamwork... :-)
Yes we are all at different stages of the path and there is always someone ahead of us to follow and someone behind us to lead.
Very well put Martin...mentorship is a life process that may involve several mentors depending on one's own growth and life aspirations.
Authority can take time. Malcom Gladwell points out in his book "Outliers" that an accumulated study of over 10,000 hours in any given field of endeavor seems to be the time investment required to become an expert.
Keep up the good work:) The Abundance Project and LifeWorld are 2 places where people can be mentored to achieve their dreams.

I touched on this subject way back when. You might find it interesting. Mentor / Mentee - Win / Win I've received a ton of help at WA, but never found a mentor.

I was reading your blog and honestly I understand and agree in every word you write. Taking the invitation from you to look at it from your perspective was a travel to the point I come from and I feel very comfortable there. My personal life is set up according to this matrix.
Since I started my way to understand the online processes the more I realized how less I know (socrates could help here with his
statement ;-)...).
Online processes are so completely different than all those wonderful occasions between two human beings. The human at the computer is still a human with all his perceptions, logics and emotions. The way to reach this person over the online world is, to my todays expirience, completely different.
To find a mentor in the way we both are used to have you will never find online because there is all the time this filter, called computer, inbetween.
Through this I feel the word mentor gets a new dimension. And this dimension counts only online. It is never to mix up with the meaning of mentoring in the real world of one to one expiriences.
And one more thing is also to spotlight.
Maybe you grew in your life to a point you are more mentor to others than others can be mentor for you. What if you grew with all your expirience to an authority and it needs someone who must be able to catch you from where you are to bring you forward to the point you strive.
If you are looking for a mentor I wish you from the bottom of my heart that you will find him near enough to you, that you can meet him regularly...

Martin, I'll be the first to admit what I don't know. Once I do learn something new (really learn it) I can usually break it down to it's simplest parts and then share what I've learned to whoever wants to listen. That's what my whole website is about.
You and I both know that mentorship works very effectively, but it's not the WA way of doing things. There is no doubt in my mind that if WA encouraged mentoring I would be a lot further along with my business than I am now, and I would be helping others instead of just plugging along.

you are absolutely right. Sometimes I have a feeling that people just do not like to take the effort anymore to build step by step something sustainable. And because they like to ignore the reality, they better believe in quick rich schemes or in other words in scams. Mentorship takes responsibility and being a mentee as well...
