The first wall
So I've hit my first wall. For some reason I haven't been able to do a Jaaxy review and as such my progress through the affiliate bootcamp has ceased.
So today I'm going to do a little piece on how to break through any walls that you may hit along your journey using my situation as an example.
Why can I not write this?
Honestly I had been doing well up to now, pretty much getting through a lesson per day for the last 2 months and then I got to course 4 lesson 6 and stopped.
I don't know whether its because I don't feel I know enough about keywords to write about Jaaxy or that I needed to rest and consolidate my website so far, I just haven't been able to write the review. To give you an idea of the time its taken me, I first started the review on the 7th of August, yeah, thats like a month. Obviously I have written other posts in the meantime and have done some stuff to spruce up my site but my progress through the lessons has stopped.
So how am I going to get around this?
This is where I describe what I think the best course of action for me will be. In the next blog I will tell you how it goes.
1. Set a date and a time where you will sit down and do it. For me this will be 1300 GMT today.
2. Set a time limit. Someone once said, "A task will swell in complexity to fill the time allotted to do it" so by setting a deadline for which it must be done I am forcing my brain to think about it sooner rather than later. I have allocated 60 mins for it.
3. Eliminate distractions. At 1300 my wifi will be unplugged, my phone turned off, my door closed and my desk will be clutter free.
4. I will then not leave that room until the time is up or the post is done to a high standard.
5. If the post is not done, I will post it anyway and edit it as I learn more.
Number 5 is an important step because it will mean that you have taken responsibility for your actions and are prepared to accept the consequences.
Finally remember a job worth doing is worth doing.
Til next time.
Greg

I use a pomodo clock and whrite 30 min my plan is ewery Day and then i edit and work on yesterday work
all good stuff Greg, I tend to do all the switch off things. When I get that, ' I gotta get out of here' feeling I dump the whole thing for a day and do nothing IT. It has never failed for me. Whatever works best for you, good on you
Carla beat me to it. Check out Jay's video. There might be one little thing in there that he says that will burst your brain wide open.
Greg, I had trouble reviewing Jaaxy, too, until I watched Jay's training last Friday night. It gave me enough understanding to do a basic review. If you haven't watched it, try it. It's Using Jaaxy Like a Ninja. It may give you the oomph you need to get rolling again. Good Luck!
You may want to take a step back and go look at the earlier lessons about keyword search to help you understand it better or even go read Jaaxy's website itself to help with that...Good luck.

Yes. I found, when I was taking courses, that if you set up a schedule for anything, things to do, lessons, and stick to it, you get to accomplish more. You have to have discipline and stick to the sched..if a task is not done and the time allotted is up. leave it and go on to the next. The next day, make up another sched and ensure that you make the unfinished task from the previous day the priority. I find that this works wonders for me. I am not sure if it applies to most people. Just an idea.
