[update] Well, I'm totally embarrassed today. Yesterday's #37 WA rank was a false rank. I'm at #82 today. This is my actual rank. I'm deeply sorry for posting this message and really appreciate all your kind comments.
I woke up this morning. Took my precious dog out to do her duty. Came back in and turned on my computer to have a look see at the morning email.
I started to do my usual WA replies and comments when I looked up
at my WA member rank. It said 37 ???
I refreshed my web page over and over. This has to be a mistake.
Nope, it kept saying 37 !!!
So I did the only thing I knew I could do. I scratched my head.
My WA rank was on the cusp of 100 for a long time. Sometimes I was in the top 100. Other times top 200. What a surprise to see the rank jump to 37 overnight.
Well, I think I'm going to celebrate just a little today.
My dog gets to go out twice in one day. Yoo Hoo !!!
Stay active in the WA community. Help others as much as possible.
It really is possible to see your rank jump overnight.
Just don't do too much or I will lose my #37.

Yes.....I was 87 when I woke up this morning. Just sat down to have a little browse, looked up and saw 36. Thought the screen was going funny and half the 8 was missing. Not sure how that happened.

Thats ok.....I went back to where I am suppose to be too. :) Although I expected it. Not showing on my screen but the rank screen has put me back to 86. At least we know we won't feel any different. hehe
I remember seeing you the range range this weekend. I care nothing about rank at all. I don't spend a lot of time at WA and I do nothing to increase my rank but it just goes up. I guess I need to go away for a week or so because I am too close to the Ambassador mark now. I have no desire to reach that level and I would not make a good ambassador because I promote my business not WA.
ambassador is like a low level employee asking for a raise and you give them a title. It's a distraction from what he really wants...money.

Helping others is an old habit of mine. I hold a degree in Psychology from Central Washington University.
I spent my career doing counseling and therapy. I'm retired now but old habits like helping die hard.
I don't put effort into raising my WA rank. It's just a by product of my helping activities. Rank to me is just for fun.
I'm at the point in life where I can kick back and take it easy. I'm satisfied with my websites' progress and revenue stream. I know there are many WA members who don't have this luxury and need to work very hard at being a successful online entrepreneur.

I remember seeing you one level below me last weekend when I was at like 41. today for some reason it's very different. Well I have to hire a new webmaster to make site changes for Black Friday. Just popping in on my cell phone. We are trying to make Black Friday our first $5,000 day of the year .

I saw that everyone in the Top 200 except the Ambassadors and a few of the Top 50 had jumped at least 40 places. Hope that you will stay in the Top 50 :)

I had the same thing happen to me. I recently modified my email choices after seeing a tutorial that just made sense (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/emails-are-you-drowning-in-them).
I realized I was spending much more time interacting with the community (sifting and sorting email) than I was on the training and my website ... not a recipe for success. I started watching my rank much more than normal, and lately it's really jumped around.
I think I saw a comment from Kyle that indicated Carson and the Techies are making some changes to the Rank Algo ... to make it better. I had an big drop like only to have go back to where it was more or less the next day.
Thanx for the email link. I have 6 email accounts all dedicated to a different focus. One is for WA only.
With multiple accounts then I can focus my time on what is important on any given day and leave the rest of the email alone.
I also realized I need a nice balance to my day long ago. I spend an hour or so looking at email in the morning. Then I jump to my website development. Maybe in the evening I will take another crack at some more emails.
Sometimes I feel like the Flying Wilendas trying to keep my balance.
My rank isn't important to me. It's just fun to see it move around.
I do pay close attention to my WA profile. One of my keywords is grampamike. I rank number one on Google but right behind is my WA profile. That's ahead of approximately 3600 other "grampamike" websites. So my WA profile is important for organic traffic.
Loes mentioned to me that the techies were mucking with the system again. I noticed it yesterday when I was using the WA editors. Lots of trouble getting those editors to work right. Adding images to this post was a real bear getting them to render properly.
I'm sure my rank will drop to 385,038 by tomorrow, LOL.

I went from 140 to 438 overnight! Awesome ranking system, now I'm lock in the middle 500's. No clue...
Do what I do. Send Kyle $50.00 under the table and your rank will shoot up overnight, LOL.
Take a very detailed screenshot of that rank, in this place, it could change in seconds! LOL
