My experience at Wealthy Affiliate - week 43 of 52 part 1

Once again, I am late reporting on my progress of last week, and I can only but apologise. I am still on a quest for days made of 48 hours, but so far unsuccessfully #lol

On a serious, but happy, note, my 5 week work related project has finally come to an end. I submitted the outcome today, and am already feeling like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. So, I thought of celebrating the event by ... well, but of course, by working online and starting catching up where I had left behind.

What I have done, or not

As per usual in the last few weeks, unfortunately I managed to publish only one review last week. I did however come across a couple of ideas for my next posts and reviews, and was accepted by a new affiliate program directly related to my niche on dogs. Which is brilliant, as I had been chasing for their support for a few months (!!!).

The other thing I took up again was, finally, the Bootcamp lessons. I am now moving forward again, and with much satisfaction.

What's to come

It goes without saying that I would like to do more writing than in the past these week. I am trying to remain realistic, but I really wouldn't mind going back to a regular publication of two posts/reviews a week. I need to pick up that momentum, particularly as we are heading towards busy periods of the year, with Black Friday and Christmas both round the corner.

But, of course I do not want to leave Bootcamp behind again. My aim - maybe a little too ambitious - is to complete Bootcamp by the end of this year. For those of you out there who have not yet tackled Bootcamp, I can tell you that as you progress deeper into the lessons, it contains some real gems of knowledge of the online industry. Definitely something not to be missed!

My mood

As mentioned, now that I have finally regained the time of the day and week I used to spend working on my online business, I am a much happier woman. Those anxious moments are, and always will be, with me - if you suffer with anxiety like me, you will know what I mean.

But by working online, sometimes in fact it helps. It helps keep those little demons at bay, by keeping my mind focused and concentrated on specific tasks, such as researching and writing. I don't know if you experience the same situation. If you feel like you would like to share it, by all means leave your comment below.

In the meantime, I wish you all a nice and productive week ahead, and see you all around for my next update at the end of this week!

Good afternoon Giulia,

That sounds all very positive, I am happy for you it is going so well.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

I think my journey here so far, both last year and this year, can be wrapped up in a couple of words (or three): ups and downs. I really don't mind my ascent to be as slow as it needs to be, so long as it is long lasting.
I hope you are doing well too, Taetske :)

Good Morning Ms. Giulia. Anxiety has always been a "frenemy" of mine. We have our good days and not so fun days but I have learned to do my best by being present in everything I am doing- like producing quality, helpful content for others.

Something I have to constantly recite to myself is "progress, not perfection." This helps me come back to Earth and not become too critical of the things I didn't accomplish in a day.

I appreciate your honesty and admire your resiliency to finding your way back onto your chosen path regardless of time lost. You're a great example and I'm happy to be privy to your journey. Have a wonderful week!

Steph, you are a great girl, and a big inspiration. I looked the idea of seeing my anxiety as my 'frenemy'. I suppose anxiety is not too bad after all when I think it could be much worse, and if at first I did not like to feel the way I did (having always been lay back and the most cool as cucumber person in the world), now I'm accepting that Mr Anxiety is always going to prop his head out of the closet every so often and I'm gonna have to go through the motions to keep him at bay.

P.S. Or is it Ms Anxiety???...

I do admire the way you let us in on your progress - and I am pleased to know you feel back on track. I am somewhat concerned to learn that your anxious moments "always will be with" you. Does it really have to be so? I do wonder about the potential for 'coping mechanisms' and how much could actually be 'self-fulfilling prophecy'. I sincerely hope that you find ways to minimise the effects of your anxiety.

Thanks John, your concern is really appreciated :)

Good progress, Julia.Congratulations!
And I wouldn't mind making it 25 sometimes, with an extra hour for sleep.lol:)

:))

It seems that there is never enough time...

Time is seriously becoming my worst enemy :)

Thanks for sharing, Giulia.

As ever Big Ro, thank you :)

Onward and forward Giulia.

Yep, that's the way :)

Thanks for the share. Forward progress is always good. Jay

Slow but sure, hopefully I'll get there.
