My experience at Wealthy Affiliate - week 16 of 52 part 1
I can safely say that Easter week was the least productive week I have had since the beginning of 2017. A total disaster!!!
What's gone wrong
Let's not beat it round the bush. Back last Sunday I wanted to do some more 'power writing' and - I am not kidding you - I managed to finish my review in 60 minutes exactly. I was really pleased with it. And then, what do I do? I ended up not being able to publish the review, as I did not have my own pictures ready to add to my post. School child error.
And there is me, preaching about how preparation and organisation are fundamental to a successful and fluid post content. To then fall prey of my very demons!!
My demons
My demons were the fact that I got deflated by not being able to stick to my schedule.
I also struggled this week with my usual tiredness.
But the main thing is that I lacked initiative. I could have published without pictures to start off with, but I didn't. And when I moved on to the next post, my mind went blank: all of the sudden I did not know what to write about. Any blogger's worst nightmare!!
I have had my holiday. Now what?
In the end, I only posted the one review this past week. Tiredness and a sudden decrease in initiative and inspiration have forced me to a 'holiday' from WA.
But, new week, renewed me.
And today I have rolled up my sleeves, and planned the week ahead. Without once again wanting to be too over ambitious, I have posted another review today. And for the next days it's going to be a Bootcamp lesson, backing up my websites with a view to try new themes, keyword search ahead of writing and posting at the end of the week, and resetting my automated Twitter system to retweet my latest posts at regular intervals.
Moral of the story? We all need a holiday from time to time, to recharge our mind and body. The important thing is that we put that break from WA to good use by coming back full of energy and ideas.

Excellent advice, Giulia! More proof that 'all work and no play', etc. Best wishes for your success!
I went down the same path that you took. I have a lot of catching up to do. Good thing I love this!!!! I am looking forward to the rewarding feeling of knowing I am back on track.
Yes. And I guess the week off has brought new ideas to the table, so now I'm rearing to go...sort of #lol
Hi Giulia
All of this just proves that you're human. We all have our ups and downs. We just need to avoid getting down on yourself. If you're having trouble writing take a step away for a day. Guaranteed something will inspire you to get back to the keys.
Good luck

Life and frustration can get in the way, but good to see your back on track!
