Hi WA Friends!
Have you heard about ChatGPT 4o with Canvas?
What Is Canvas?
Screenshot From OpenAI
Canvas is a new tool introduced by OpenAI that allows users to interact with ChatGPT for writing and coding in a more advanced way. Unlike simple chatting, Canvas helps users collaborate, edit, and manage projects effectively. Features include text highlighting for suggestions, section-specific edits, and version control, making it a powerful tool for writing and coding.
Canvas was offered to my OPenAI yesterday, and I have been playing with the new model with great results!
Here is an AI-assisted summary of the info available from OpenAI.
Writing And Coding Features
Canvas makes writing tasks easier by providing suggestions to adjust tone, length, and readability. It helps polish writing for grammar and clarity, or even adds some extra flair like emojis for emphasis. When coding, Canvas can review, debug, add comments, and convert code to different programming languages, such as Python or Java, making it versatile for developers.
Collaboration Tools
Canvas acts as a creative partner for users, knowing when to offer full rewrites or targeted edits. It can provide contextual feedback that helps improve the overall quality of projects. This allows users to collaborate with ChatGPT in a more structured and productive way.
Availability
Canvas is currently available for ChatGPT Plus and Team users globally. It will soon be offered to Enterprise and educational users, with plans to expand access to everyone after its beta phase.
How Canvas Can Be Helpful for Online Marketers
Canvas can assist in creating well-written and persuasive content quickly, thanks to smart writing suggestions. Marketers can easily adapt content to match different tones, audiences, or marketing platforms. Canvas also helps generate ideas for blog posts, email campaigns, and social media content, saving valuable time during brainstorming sessions. Additionally, its ability to help collaborate, review, and optimize marketing content makes campaigns more efficient and impactful.

Tell Me What You Think
I love the rate at which ChatGPT is evolving, which means I can continue to utilize it as my primary AI tool instead of spreading myself too thin with multiple shiny objects! With Canvas, I can repurpose all the time I save to play even more music! Lol π
Are you using ChatGPT as your primary AI tool? If not, which tool do you think is better?
Have you been offered ChatGPT 4o with Canvas?
What do you think about Canvas, compared to stand-alone ChatGPT 4o?

I realize that I have made a mistake. Thought the old and great Canva was the same as Canvas!
Need to rethink now.
I use the 4o version as a key, even though I use others, too, like Tai but I need more tests to judge that. But it looks good!
For most AI I canΒ΄t use their photos as they need to be perfect for me niche, They have probem/canΒ΄t do some or other are not good enoough.
I used mostly chatty and claude, sometimes lexy and gemini. I tried using gemini based on the premise th at if I want to rank in google I should use google. The primse is sound, but the results I got were somewhat weak. I would have claude rewrite them sometimes.
My image generation prompts fail probably 50% of the time. I do not have paid tools though. I am not going to pay for anything until I start seeing some results...and I just realized I lied. I will probably pay for canva premium so that I can get access to the images.... I already spent so much money and I will be years before I see even 1$ if even that...
Hi Mona
You can use the DALL-E 3 AI image generator for free here: π

I use microsoft designer sometimes, I did not know it was dall-e. sometimes I get ok results - nowhere like what people post here though. While I was checking Pinterest, I saw a pin with an image identical to an image I have. Or almost. AI generated image of course. I checked the blog - all AI written probably with the same tool I am using. Give it another year, the net will be flooded with "sameness" .... It's like "Fahrenheit 451" in real time ...
Hi Mona
I let AI generate all my Pinterest pins and written content. It ranks well. I get about 850,000 impressions and 1,400 outbound clicks a month. π
Yes, your concern about AI-generated "sameness" is well founded.

I fed chatty my blog post and asked for 30 pin titles and description. Some are ok, some are hallucinating but I might be able to change them to fit the content of the blog. I am not sure AI images would do good in my niche. I need 5 million impressions to hope to get get 50000 clicks and qualify for mediavine. Based on this "rule", you should be close to 10 000 clicks per month ....
Hi Mona
Yeah, AI-generated images are not ideal for every niche.
I A/B tested photographic vs. AI-generated images for my Pinterest guitar niche and AI did just as well on the overall, and even better for some categories.
I recommend you do your own testing to see if you can maximize AI automation. π

Wow! It gave me a specific hook for my intro and suggested other edits, specific edits, to other body copy.
I love it. It will be fun to work with.

Thanks for this article, i was just wondering about canvas so this was good timing. I looked at it yesterday and it wasn't obvious to me how it was different from chatGPT4o. Are you going to stick with canvas now for content creation or will you also use chatGPT 4o?
Update:
I've looked into this some more and my thoughts now is that I will still use ChatGPT 4.o for brainstorming ideas and outlining articles because it's quicker and I think it remembers me between the different chats and if I understand correctly Canvas doesn't remember you at all between sessions.
Then I will copy and paste the outline of the article to ChatGPT Canvas to create the article, refine and edit. If I start collaborating with other people, I'll also use Canvas for that.
Hi Dave
Iβm using the custom GPTs I designed in 4o, but Canvas for everything else. It will remember within the same project.
