Although not really fortunes by definition,,,they are more like words of wisdom. Still, given my current moment in life..these are some of the best fortunes I have found inside fortune cookies. =)

My favorite one will always remain the one I got at dinner with my boyfriend in 1982. It said "Your mate in life will bring you luck and be your shining star." Now, after 35 years of marriage, I'd have to still agree!

Sadly it got lost during a move from our first home to our second. I was truly bummed about that, but I still remember it perfectly.

I save the good ones in a jar and throw the not so good ones away. "Ignore the last two cookies." What the hell?

Fortune cookies have only very limited appeal and are quickly forgotten. They're almost more of an entertainment than something to take seriously. Sorry for the grumpy response, but on this one, you can put me in the "negative" column.

Hey Mark, I love to open fortune cookies just for the fortune. I don't even eat them. I take them very seriously. Everything I do revolves around fortune cookies. I order them in bulk and spend my days opening them. I pray to them, talk sexy to them , and sacrifice goats to them. I plan on mortgaging my house and gambleing all the money in Vegas soon because the fortune cookie said "You will be very fortunate." :p
