Wht s th ftr f wrtng ?
Can you read that? Yes, probably you can.It is short code for what is the future of writing?
We are all familiar with all kind of short codes on social media. All original, different and some used by all. Besides short codes, many abbreviations too.
Just to name some of the most famous ones
- Brb = be right back
- Lol = lots of laughter
- Aka = also known as
- WA = we all (;-)
Not to forget the emoticons, they speak for themselves.
And save a lot of phrasing as well.
So... what is my point here?
Our familiar ways of writing are no longer limited to words and phrases, paragraphs and pages.
We are entering a new world were visuals, audio, and text become more and more entangled. And some say, the next communication is through brain waves. No more writing. Even internerd will become obsolete...
Be aware of all that when building your website.
Back to my feet... uh feed.
Thank you for liking, comments and shares
How do you envision the future of writing... or should I say communication?PS
Shortcode is a term used by programmers to ease their job. For more information check the official documentation on word press.

I would rather not communicate with Brain Waves.... there's a whole ton of scary stuff in my head...LOL
I sometimes get some interesting code when I walk away from the computer and the cat walks on the keys! Maybe she is communicating with me... I better check into this further instead of just deleting what she "typed!"
Best,
Karin :)
Oh, after reading your headline, I thought some of your keyboard keys have stopped working. Lol๐
Anyways, I Love gifs๐
Fleeky you work on developing that brain wave communication. Some times feel like it is already here as your posts (and other posts as well) make me feel like some of you are scanning my brain waves and posting informational stuff before I have opportunity to ask a question.

Personally, I don't think this would work on our websites as Google won't make sense of it. ... and one of Kyle's prominent emphasis is that keywords must make sense.
It may make everyone's life a little easier, but for those whose 1st language is not English, this is quite daunting, confusing and discouraging.
For the good of building up the community, I say we stick to proper English words. :-)

Don't believe in 'shortcode.' whether I like it or not.
Acronyms are another issue also.
Lets just say 'What Is' in words without the 'Drama.'
Thanks, Fleek for the post.
