Hi

I've recently read more about EPC and just want to make sure I understand it correctly because I am explaining it in a post.

I've applied to the Tony Robbins A

I agree Evie, someone knows.

I have never heard of the EPC code or metric, I am very curious about this question, I'm going to stick around and watch the WA answers.

Okay cool, I'm going to ask this question to the broader community to see if anyone knows

Tony Robbins Affiliate program only approve websites with high amounts of traffic normally. Have you been approved?

Yes I have

Do you know anything about EPC calculation, that was actually my question?

Congrats on being approved! I only know what we learn in the training in Afffiliate bootcamp level 6. I am now learning how to calculate and set up the campaigns.
EPC means earnings per click.
A 7 day EPC means clicks within 7 days after someone seeing your ad.
And it is an expected earning potential not fixed- So your earning potential will be $118 for 100 clicks as I understand it.
Net commision earned divided by total number of clicks on affiliate link = EPC
You will learn all this when you go through the Affiliate bootcamp.

Great thanks, I'm starting phase 4 of the training so hopefully I'll get to that soon

Hi WA Community

On the 14th of July I will have been with Wealthy Affiliate for 2 months. I know technically it's early days, but I just want to ask the community if I sh

I have actually just asked a fairly similar question with regards to traffic, so found it interesting reading through this one. It sounds like you are doing all the right things, so keep it going, you've got this :) These things just take time hey!

Thank you for the encouragement, I really appreciate it. I will keep going

Hi - I am not sure why you have 2 websites, both in the make money online niche. One has 6 posts, and the other has 8 posts. Obviously, if you just had 1 website, you would have 14 posts by now which would put you further ahead of the game, as it's all about the content on your site.

This is very early days to expect to see any traffic, both sites are only 6 weeks old. Google views all new sites with suspicion for the first few months and doesn't rank your posts high enough to attract visitors.

You need to show Google that you are an authority on your subject and that typically happens around the 6-month mark when you would have around 40 to 50 posts. That is when you start to see a continuous rise in traffic.

By the way, you don't have an Affiliate Disclosure which is a legal requirement. Take a look at this training. Your WA review is out of date. The yearly premium is now $495.

Thanks, both sites are different and I have my reasons thanks. One specifically promotes WA as a means to earn money online. The other is aimed at my bigger goal of becoming a personal growth and business coach. I have applied to affiliate programs in this niche.

I haven't come across any training yet on the affiliate disclosure. I'm following the training step for step, so I assumed that I was still getting to that.

Hi - oddly enough, the main core training doesn't cover the Affiliate Disclosure, which you would assume it should do, considering how important it is. You do need to add it as soon as you have affiliate links.

Hey Diane, by the way, where are we supposed to put our affiliate disclosure ? I mean, when we promote wealthy affiliate.

Is it different from Amazon affiliate disclosure ?

Do we have to put it on the top or on the footer ?

Hi - take a look at the training I suggested to Yvonne. Your disclosure has to be clear and conspicuous. It should be seen by your visitors before they see your affiliate links. You should put it in your top navigation menu, not the footer.

If you are using Amazon, you need their specific declaration on every post that has their links in it.

Yes I've watched that suggested video..

In fact I want to know if the same applies when you promote WA.
If the affiliate disclosure should only be on top.

As a matter of fact, I've seen other members's websites promoting WA, and their affiliate disclosure can be only found on the footer.

That's why I'm asking

Hi - as far as I am aware, it shouldn't be in the footer. But yes, as you say, other sites do this. I personally wouldn't risk it. I know it's unlikely the FTC would chase up smaller sites, but they can take legal action against you.

Alright.

Thanks

Take your time building your websites and posts. However, I suggest you begin with Pinterest as it is a great way to get free traffic and build your email list.

Thanks, I have instagram and FB. I hadn't considered Pinterest, I will have a look!

Your main source of traffic needs to come first from SEO through Google and the other search engines and this takes time. I highly recommend that you do not focus on anything having to do with Facebook for at least 6 months and until your website is getting traffic from SEO. Kyle teaches about social media and ads later in the training. No need to rush things.

Great, good to know. I will just keep on with the training then.

It is still early. You should focus on SEO and growing organic traffic before ads. Kyle recommend not to start to early with ads. SEO is very effective when it works. Do not stress. Focus on creating content and SEO. It will come. Share all posts on Social media and all platforms you use.

Thanks for the reassurance, I did think it was a bit early for ads. I'm still building my website so I'm just focusing on content
