The END - for the time being at least.
i Have become aware of several "bumps" in the road that MUST be attended to, one of which is that I need eye surgery ASAP and eventually on both eyes. Since I am the ONLY caregiver for my husband this is requiring a good deal of "suffling" so that he has continued care while i, myself need some care. Therefore, I will NOT be here for a while. When I am able to return I will reapply, and get "crackin'", but until then I have certainly enjoyed the journey and appreciate all the feed back, help, etc. I have received here. Don't look for me for at least 3 months. May you all continue te good work and be successful.

If it helps, I've had cataract surgery on both eyes and it went well and recovery was fast. I wish the same for you. We'll be here when you are ready to come back.
Yeah, Ive had cataract surgery on both eyes as well. This is a little more complicated. It's a corneal transplant.
My friends mother had that surgery... She was very scared but the surgery was an amazing success. She had both eyes done and was greatful to science for figuring out this could work. I wish the same level of success for you.
than you for the encouragement. My problem is that I am my husband's sole caregiver and need to work out how he will be taken care of while I recuperate.
I do understand that situation. Do you have any visitors nurses or CNA's? Sometimes they can pick up the slack for a little while. I know my Mom's insurance company offered respite care for caregivers.
Can't hit the "like" button here because I don't like it. I am sorry to see you be put in the position that you are and while I understand I am saddened by it. We will await your recovery and return and keep you in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.

Eye surgery does not sound like fun.
I have had cataracts removed from both eyes, and that was a snap. Hoping that's what you have to have done. If something else, hopefully it will all turn out wonderfully for you. Best of luck!
