Family gathering 2018
Hello you all, Eugenio here.
Tomorrow we will host 2018 family gathering!
In the past weeks myself and my siblings have been too busy getting all set up for our yearly family gathering of around 140 relatives that have confirmed their participation -looking and contracting catering service, searching for hotel accommodations, live music, optional tours and so on.
All of that has been time consuming and an addition to our personal daily chores but this year we are the hosts. It is always a huge celebration with relatives coming from far away (some of them thousands of miles away, yes, México is a big Country) but it is worthwhile by any means.
México is famous for keeping strong family ties. Sociologists say family is at the foundation of society... and it is, for sure.
I am so excited that I could not help letting you all know about it my WA friends (WA family I must say).
I am also nervous, considering that my relatives might not be completely satisfied by the event, but we did our best to have a great one this year. Nonetheless, I know there are always issues that out of our control like the quality of food, music, etc.
Just some final thoughts: Some of my family members also speak English (our native language is Spanish) and I will take advantage of that to invite them to join WA and become my referrals. Good opportunity.

I enjoy family reunions, all of the young ones coming in with their new babies, all of the old ones telling old tales again!
That is exactly how they are Janice! I am already enjoying the arrival of some relatives.

Sounds like a blast. We also have familia in Monterrey, Cadereyta, and other parts of Mexico where our abuelos came from. I am sure your gathering will thunder with happiness and joy for all that you have done. Much like our thanksgiving gatherings mostly everyone is able to attend them and when it's done, it's done and the memories will last eternally. Que la pase muy bien y felicidades ha todos. The dice are already showing 6'es. I just came back from a great welcome small gathering with early arriving cousins, nephews and else. It is 11:10 p.m. down here and before going to dream I will do a little WA funny, joyful stuff
