I am looking at the social meta under All in One SEO and I noticed about uploading image. Please I was just wondering on the kind of image I should use. Since my site is about
Featured images in WP should automatically show up in social shares, if set up correctly.
Or you can specify which image you want in the Social Settings section of the All in One SEO Plugin. The fields appear under each post and you can select an image for your post (you must enable the social meta feature in the plugin Feature Manager).

Yoast has a similar feature in its social settings. I don't use Yoast, but you will find the information here:

~Jude
Yoast has more features but it boils down to whether you want or need to use them.
Jay adds an image in Yoast in this webinar - I think about 2/3rds of the way into the video, if you need a visual.

It is a personal preference. Both plugins do the job equally well.
It doesn't matter which plugin you use - it does not determine ranking or how well keywords will perform to get search traffic. It's a matter of deciding which plugin you are most comfortable using.
Yoast has a language checker, which some people find helps them with their writing. ~Jude
I always use an image from at least 300px by 600 px. You can use the featured image of your post, but you can also choose any other image, try to make something special for Social Media.

I am trying to fill out the social meta in the All in One SEO and I was just wondering if it is okay to use the home title and home description I used for general setting. On t
Yes, it is ok to do so Emeolu. If the title is long, you might have to shorten it using https://bitly.com
Good question, I have not tried the All in One SEO. I do not know if you can use "Home" title and description should be ok in the general setting or not.
I use Yoast SEO. I have my "Home" title and description in the setting. But, I did not write the same both. I just wrote the different description under the blog title. Hope this helps.
Yoast SEO is easy to understand the title, description, keywords, and etc. I really feel comfortable with this. But - All-in-One SEO, I never have tried it before. You can install Yoast SEO plugin in your website, it's free. But you cannot have two SEO plugins. You need to choose which one is the best for you. Try testing this if you want.
Use any jpeg, prn or gif.
All in One SEO will use your title and the first ~160 characters of your article automatically. Edit the description if it doesn't adequately describe your page/post. People will see the description when your site shows up in their search. Give them a reason to visit your website.

I checked my site ranking on Google via Jaaxy site rank and I notice that I am on the 6th page. However, when I do a keyword search on Google, I couldn't find my site. Is there
But what does serplab base its data on? Do they cache results? Do they guess? I would nearly call it a bold statement that serplab is better...
also a dangerous statement.. considering jaaxy is developed by the people behind WA.
And even Serplab says the following on their site:
Please note that search results can be personalised, so even if you run exactly the same search as us, you may get slightly different results.
We have made every effort to reduce the effect of these modifications when we run our queries, but some criteria are unavoidable.
In order for you to get the most unbiased search rankings results when making manual checks against our results we recommend you:
- Sign out of any google accounts
- Clear your browser cache to remove any cookies
- Close and reopen your browser to clear any session data
- Consider using a proxy or VPN
There you go.
Well you can always check your self by simply using a different computer with everything cleaned and just type your keywords in to google and you will see where you are - right now I will type in audiophile cables from my other computer OK -
on Google I am page 1 position 10
on Bing I am PAGE 1 POSITION 1
on Yandex I am page 1 position 1
on Yahoo I am page 1 position 4
And that shows me where I am with a two word key word!

I am not sure whether you are from the USA or not, but do know that:
1) Jaaxy uses google.com, not other country results
2) Your computer + Google might search differently (you get different results) depending on:
- previous searches
- country where you are searching from
- language of your PC
- incognito mode or not
- ip address
- everything that google knows about you
This is called Semantic Search.
WE need to see where we are in the world with all search engines
Google, Yahoo, Yandex and Bing!
P
I am sure that the same semantic search problems occur on other platforms. Google is just perhaps a little more ahead of the others.
