Wealthy Affiliate is nothing but a get rich quick scheme.
Yup, I was told that today by a friend.He owns a campground an he said:
"Well i think i will sit down and just let the money roll in".
Well i told him it won't be long an the money will start rolling in for me too. That's when it all started when he asked me what kind of job i was doing.
I told him i do affiliate marketing an things were starting to look promising an that it would be good money.That's when i told i'm going to sit down and just let the money roll in.
He says with all that money you are wasting on that scam you could put that away for your retirement.
People like him don't even take the time to figure out the potential that Wealthy Affiliates has. He just bitches everyday that he is tired of the same routine an that the winter and the taxes eat all the money up
That just tells me that there are a lot of people in this world that just don't know anything about affiliate marketing an what it do for there future. Everybody thinks Wealthy Affiliate is nothing but a get rich quick scheme.
It just tells me that there is a lot of people to target and teach them an try to get them to join wealthy affiliate,to convince them it is not a scam.
I know there are a lot of people, that when they are wasting there hard earn money on a scam, that they sometimes get so discourage over it they quit.
That guy can tell me that all day long, an he can laugh his ass off, but little does he know it does not phase one single bit.
So i say, let them laugh at you an say what they seem fit but don't ever let that get to you to the point where you will quit. You see what people are doing here, these are your teachers with them "YOU CAN'T NOT FAIL."

Well, first of all, I haven't gotten rich quick. (but that's not the best answer).
It's not an easy road, though. There's a lot of hard work involved! So it's not for those people who are looking for an easy buck.
When I think of get rich quick schemes, I think: easy, not much work involved, etc. WA definitely does not fit that description.
Anyway--just my penny's worth of opinion. Hope your website is wildly successful for you, though.
Elwin, Have him join a company that I did review for my website today that had the word "millionaire" in its name. Now THAT was a scam!
Oh well, it's that individual's problem that he has his head stuck in the sand regarding his ignorant attitude regarding WA.
When the money earned from WA begins to roll into your business, Elwin than you can laugh in your friend's face! I bet you then he'll be begging you to provide him with info about this great company!
Elwin, everybody is entitled to their own opinion my dear. Let him continue to stand in complaint counter.
It seems that whenever people can't afford something or don't follow the instructions they call it a scam. Wealthy affiliate is in the business of selling training. The longer they can keep you paying for training the better off it is for wealthy affiliate. It is a business like everything else. People try to put psychological images on it and that's fine as long as they continue to pay.
The only people who will get rich quick out of wealthy affiliate might be Kyle. Assuming you can get thousands of people paying the monthly fees.

Great post, Elwin, but there's one thing I've learned over the years is that we're not in the 'convincing' business.
If someone isn't open minded enough to even listen to what we in the know have to tell them, forget even trying. Don't waste time trying to convince or persuade people or you'll miss the people who are open minded and don't need convincing.
95% of people won't even look at an opportunity like WA and most of the 5% who will at least look, will probably not take up the opportunity or will do nothing with it even if they do join.
In MLM they used to preach 'Work the numbers'. We don't have to do that here. Quality content with quality SEO will do the hard work for us. No need to try to convince anybody, especially the 'tunnel vision' types like you're friend :-)
