I like the thought of hosting for WA
A niche can be anything you like, any interest. The best thing to do is to start with a niche that you are interested/passionate about as it will make building content and building out your website that much more fun.
If you cannot come up with a niche, you could always head through the Affiliate Bootcamp where your niche is already chosen for you (you will be promoting WA), but that is completely up to you.
If you ever want to run your niche ideas by anyone you have lots of help Eduardo, so just ask. ;)
There are lots of training modules here on how to choose a niche. This is just one. How to Find a Profitable Niche If you put "how to find a niche" in the search bar you'll get loads of info. :)
There is a Niche for everyone. First ask yourself, if I did not have to work what would I like to do with my day. Once you have that answer you have the makings of a Niche.

If you can't come up with a niche right now, I would definitely like Kyle recommended, start with the Affiliate Bootcamp training where your niche is already chosen for you (you will be promoting WA). In this training you will learn how to promote WA in a step by step training course.
I know that picking your own niche can be overwhelming, but I'm sure you'll come up with one soon and continue with the training here at WA.

I'm quite sure that they do. I've never seen a domain name registrar that didn't offer it.

There are different rules depending on the TLD (.com, .eu, etc) being registered. Here's a wikipedia article with more information:

I have used 1&1 and am happy with them. Most of my domains are with them. They have excellent customer service. I've had no issues figuring out how to point my domains to my hosting. The only thing is for some odd reason they don't bill you right away when you order new domains. I think once it was like two weeks before they pulled the funds from my bank. So I'm careful to write it down now so I don't forget.
I have purchased 2 domains from 1&1, and I have been very happy with the service. No issues at all
