Hi everybody, I recently set myself a goal of writiing 10,000 words.

Some of you asked for an update, so here it is.

Setting goals within the SiteContent area really helped me to be more motivated and focussed on the writing aspect of WA.

This was good because I often find myself overwhelmed by all the tools on the platform and end up creating very little content each week.

Within 3 days I had written nearly 6,000 words and this was all thanks to the goal setting tool.

At this point in the week I read a really interesting blog post about SiteSpeed. I decided that it was more important to work on that so I switched my attention to completing the tasks it recommended.

Although I didnt comepete the writing goal this time, I believe I would have done if I had of stuck to it.

I would strongly recommend it to anybody wanting to create more content each week.

If you have any questions or comments, please drom them bellow and I will get back to you asap.

Thank you for reading and all the best.

Ok, I really have to get on this.

I am pleased to hear it and look forward to the outcome.

Great info! It can be easy to get distracted, and not get certain tasks done, but goals are definitely the way to get there. Great work!

Thank you!

Hey Catherine,
Goals are a great way to keep me motivated week to week. Of course that is the reason they probably started them.

I really enjoyed reading that blog. Great idea. You really do have to write them all down. Had so many ideas just slip away in the past. Not any more!

Very cool!

Creating your drafts before laying down content is key to writing success. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Catherine! I’ve started setting up draft pages with topics for filling out and publishing later. That has helped me a great deal. All the best to you!

I have only done it the once... can't guarantee it will happen again!! :/

Did you see my blog about having a bunch of content drafts with keywords, intros, subheadings and final words already written up? That also really helped.

You're absolutely rip roarin Catherine!!!

Thank you Mike. Need to get back to this goal setting when I return from the trip as I will be spend a lot of time away these next few weeks.
