Once the membership expires, do we not have control over our websites? Why is it because we own the domain, isn't it? Does it mean that one always should be a WA member?
If you don't want to continue with your premium membership you can back up your website and move it to another hosting company. WA only hosts websites for premium members. What if I Leave WA and Come Back Later?

How long Were you away from WA; You are normally given 30 days to remove the websites but the account stays for as long as 2 years as I have seen posted before. Do you have a backup of the website? You can still try site support to see if they can help.
