Here is some information that will help you with the static home page: How To Set Up a Static Home Page or Landing Page vs Default Blog Roll If you want to find some other information, go to the top of the page where it says "Need help? Ask your question here" and type in what you're looking for. Links about that topic will pop up.
I hope this information is helpful.
Kind regards,

In case there's no such training, just follow these simple steps:
1. Log in to your website
2. Click on CUSTOMIZE. (In my theme, it's found at the very top): the customizing menu opens at the left
3. Click on Homepage Settings from that menu
4. Select Static Homepage
5. Indicate - by selecting - the page or post you wish to serve as the static page
6. Click PUBLISH or perhaps UPDATE, according to your theme.
Hope this helps.
