The Proposed WA Changes Not Yet Implemented (and a Further Change!)
So, just to confuse you all, who promote WA, and have changed your reviews and welcome messages, some things haven't actually changed yet!
New Premium members still have the option to host 10 websites and Premium Plus, it is still 50.
In approximately 3 to 4 weeks, the new rules will be implemented.
At that time, Premium will reduce to 3, and Premium Plus to 10.
Initially, it was said that Premium would be reduced to 5, but it is now 3.
Kyle will be releasing a post to confirm these changes nearer the time.

Hi, I do not want to make assumptions. I watched Eric's class last night, which stated the same thing you mentioned in this post. This is for the new plan but not those who are grandfathered in from the BF deal. I will wait for clarification on that when Kyle announces the update. This might cause people to start hosting elsewhere for more. They can do that if they want. Some members do host outside of WA.
when I signed up in 2019 for premium I was given the availability then to have up to 50 sites. There was no premium and premium plus there was just free or premium. I am still premium and have been paying for this for 3 years. I currently have 4 websites and another one that is a test website. Am I going to lose some of my sites and need to go somewhere else to keep them?
Hi - no, provided your membership has remained constant, you keep your original plan, you retain the 50 sites, I am on the same plan.

Since I am still learning and seeing all the work that goes into JUST 1 website, I would hate to see the work that goes into 10. NOT TO MENTION THE PROBLEMS! It will take me years to get to the new rule of 3!
I do hope Kyle considers all options with the new rule and consider the membership COSTS. I believe he will do his best to accommodate the members. We as members need to understand the cost of all the moving parts and technology upgrades that we have no control over that goes into this style of business.
I can't imagine having to constantly update and find all the glitches in this platform. With every member on this platform is a different problem and learning abilities or curves that has to be addressed continuously. NOW imagine the 100's of thousands of members with separate issues, time zones, styles of computers, internet speeds, JUST WOW! Again, before people get upset, we are all in the business to profit including Kyle.

Ffor those who want to tweak their pages now, it might be useful to use the idea of the larger site hosting being grandfathered in as a time tactic to see if it shakes any procrastinators into acting before it's to late. Especially for any here who might have an email list of folks who might be more prone to action since they know you a little.
I'll be looking forward to the final official post on this. Thankfully I haven't been pitching WA just yet, nor have any traffic if I had been, hah hah hah.
For those who have, maybe tweak it something like,
"Oh wow, I can't believe it. They actually extended the period one can get 10/50 sites for a few more weeks. I think they lost their minds keeping this offer up for a bit longer, but their madness is our gain. I'd definitely not let this one pass you by folks. Hosting isn't cheap, and with that amount of hosting it more than pays for itself."

Yes, we will announce the updates when they happen. We indicated that these changes would be rolled out shortly after the Black Friday offer, and they will be coming very soon.
We are waiting on some technology updates, as these are going to coincide with a new upgrade page and a new join page, which we are really excited about! Vast improvements coming on this end. We are likely 3-4 weeks away from this roll out.
As for what the new structure will be, we are moving to 3/10. 3 websites will be included within the Premium membership, which is more than adequate for building out the foundation, and then Premium Plus+ with 10 is going to be well suited for any level of entrepreneur. ;)
Not to mention, that we are going to have a dedicated hosting option where someone can in essence, buy their own server. This is going to be geared towards more advanced users, agencies, ecom sites, and those with a network of websites that they want full control of.
Full details to come on release, and I will be running you through all of these updates with a video blog. ;)

so that's three total for premium...
including siterubix...
so if i have a domain create a site and change my mind...buy another domain can i now park the first domain freeing up that slot...
or how do i remove the domain from my account if i want another domain and a staging site to upgrade plugins safely...
and have a test siterubix site....
so that would be four, but one i don't want ... what can i do to free up space...

I clarified in live chat earlier today with Kyle those of us already on plans will be grandfathered in as long as we keep our membership current without lapsing. Doesn't answer all of your question(s) as I would be curious to understand about parking and such although I doubt I'll ever get close to using half the slots I have available.
i suspect it will be a combination of any....
so 3 siterubix or 3 domains....or any combination of each

which is the reason why i am keeping my current membership....
what i am after is clarification on any domain i don't want to use - can i park them or are they sitting there for a year using up a slot until they lapse....
or should i look at otherunlimited cheap hosting to park them...
Thanks Phil that was what I am hoping, for us we are grandfathered in so no issue there but for the sake of content we need to know asap to correct and adjust this is taking far too long. The sooner we know the better not just in bits and pieces.

Thank you for writing this Kyle. I`m excited for the new changes and the option for your own server sounds really cool. But I`m wondering why is the amount websites you can host being reduced so much?
I would hope that parking them wouldn't count the same as the actual hosting a site slot since it wouldn't be eating resources. Best to seek clarification though. I'll be checking back for the answer out of curiosity now.

I didn't know that. What happens to the domains of folks who for whatever reason fail to make their payment and the site is shut down?
then they are parked or archived - but after 60 days the backup of the site is gone ...
but you can't volunarily park a domain while being a member ....
with 25 or 50 site slots why would you...
but with 3 or even 5 or 10 then i would like that feature...

I have 3 domains that I purchased here, that I previously built websites on, and then deleted the sites.
So, they are currently listed in my Website Manager but show as hosting turned off, so I presume they don't count toward my total.
oh ok ..so if all the data is deleted then effectively they are parked...

Yes, I killed off the sites, and then the domains appeared marked as "hosting off" - I didn't change the settings in any way.
