When people enter by using that link, and they are not yet a member, they get a bar at the bottom with a request to join, you can check it up yourself if you like, paste the affiliate link into an incognito window, and you will get the bar

sure, no problem with that. Make sure you include your membership tracking details in the link so you get credit when someone joins WA.
If your business is referring people to WA, it could be a novel tool.
Actually, I've never heard of this possibility, sounds interesting, could be something that eases the process for regular readers......
If it directly relates to your opt-in, then it would be a good thing to add to your funnel.
