I am wanting to write an e book how do i start ?
Happy New Year Eve to you Dawn. Writing an eBook is as easy as writing an email to your friend. You can use any word processor, Microsoft Office/Word, Word Perfect, Open Office (which is what I use).
I recommend using a font other than the default Times New Roman. I prefer either Arial or Verdana, just make it an easy to read font. Usual size (12pt) on your headings I use Bold either (14pt or 16pt). There are only a couple of rules to adhere to, like manual page breaks, so that once you finish your document, you can save it as a PDF Document, then upload this to your website. Any pictures that are in your book will have to be manually added (uploaded) to your website media library.
Good question. I hope this helps.

Hello there Dawn.
I did manage to write one of my own quite a while ago now.
The way I went about it was to create my content in wordprocessor like Microsoft word. or something simliar.
Within that content I created hyperlink texts for affiliate products, spell check the usual
Then I exported the whole lot to PDF from within the same software
Then I created an Ebook cover using a free tool I found (that I cant remember the name of LOL) A quick google search should find something.
Then I hosted the PDF file so people could download instantly. I beleive hosting is included with premium membership so should be able to store it.
Then you begin promoted the ebook through whatever avenues you were thinking of once the book created.
Hope this helps you out a little :)
I used to use Word a lot but I find it quite expensive for what it is. More recently I have been using a free software called Libre Office. Basically the same thing not as many bells and whistles as Word.
Its free, it's great and there is a button on the main menu for PDF Export perfect for your Ebook Creation.
Libre Office is all I use these days and its FREE !!!
Great news I really like Libre Office and it will save you around 100bucks LOL - Look forward to hearing how you get on with the Ebook
I think you can also sell Ebooks as Kindle, unless you were just planning your ebook as being a free gift to get subscribers
I'm not completely sure which way I want to go with it yet I know I have to create a landing page first .So it gets attention right now I'm working my tail off trying to drive traffic to my website I'm also considering fb ads ?what do you think?
Fb ads is a great way of getting fast traffic to your site. Just be careful with it though.
I would maybe look for some free videos on youtube about fb ads as they can end up be very expensive eating away your profits.
It will drive good targeted traffic to your site which is what you want but I would also make sure you do quite a bit of work (if you havent already) on your keyword research as you might be able to find some real golden nuggets
Again if you havent already I would also do some work on ranking your website organically as a lot of top quality traffic can come from organic search traffic which means you wont have to pay money for visitors.
I understand that I have been plugging away at pint rest & are receiving many follows through that ,& I have watched many webinars on how to drive traffic to my website ,I am learning as much as I possibly can since I started this three months ago I know it takes time & their best advice is always the same thing write great informative content .Now I am working on marketing strategies.I am hungry like the wolf on this I hope it all comes together for me.

design my header name
Good info here Dawn. https://www.bettercloud.com/monitor/the-academy/custom-headers-for-google-sites/
You can try Canva.com. That's where I create most of my website graphics, and it's free to use. Picmonkey is another good site for creating your own graphics
If you don't want to create it yourself, and happy to pay someone to do it for you, you can try Fiverr, which kmer6 mentioned below.
Hope that helps,
Steph
