The training and tools here must be the best free business start up that I have ever seen. I had the misfortune of trying to start a business with Google Sniper a few years back and really got my fingers burned.

Lessons Learned

I wish I had found Wealthy Affiliate back then instead of wasting more than a year trying to build profitable websites with Sniper.

I am now in the process of scaling up my website and today published my 134th post. Last month earnings after 8 months was only $150 but this month I should double that.

If I can continue to build like this I will be very happy and should reach my target of $1000 / month within 18 months of start up.

What I liked about Wealthy Affiliate after joining

There was absolutely no pressure to go Premium and the fact that you can transfer your free website after signing up was a huge bonus.

The support and the training is second to none and you are picking the brains of people who are successful and have been through it all.

I had none of this when I joined Google Sniper. I was given a PDF of a user manual and had to get on with it.

Their technical support is a joke and replies to emails could take weeks. It was like swimming in quicksand.

Going Forward with my Online Business

It's easy to get deflated when you don't see success and most people will give up. That's an unfortunate statistic.

I've had dark days and it was hard to push though them but whenever I got down I would force myself to read some of the posts from other members who had also experienced this.

So, I have many people to thank for pushing me forward and the list is too many but you all know who you are.

It's my intention to continue adding as much posts as I can and chasing after the low hangers. My earnings seem to be on a par (pro-rata) with my traffic. When I was getting 150 daily visitors my monthly earnings was $150 and now that I am in the daily 300's my earnings should be $300.

Is this normal or just a coincidence?

My Advice for What It's Worth

• Always chase the low hangers, some traffic is better than no traffic.
• Check your rankings and traffic regularly to see what is working for you.
• Try and diversify your income streams but keep them "niche specific".
• Be consistent and post a minimum of 3 articles per week on your site.
• Never give up, success is just around the corner.
