Just a few updates to be added to the record.
I got 2 adsense clicks yesterday which effectively adds 2 new firsts to my list.
1. First day over the $1 mark!
2. First $1 in general. I had one adsense click prior to this and it was worth 60 cents, so my website has finally made it over the hump of $1
Next, I'm discussing price for a writing gig through upwork dot com. It's my first time discussing work with someone on a freelance site. The job posting was for 30-40 articles with possible long term relationship after that. He's offered me 10 articles to start with and we are just negotiating price at this point.
With no history on the site I was having trouble getting contacted by even the piddly littlest jobs that I was submitting proposals for. You know what it is that I believe finally worked for me? I dropped the humble bs and wrote an aggressively confident cover letter.

Thanks man, I was trying to think outside the box.
Everyone say's something like "Red" followed by their reasoning while trying to demonstrate their writing skills. I thought the unexpected answers might stand out a little bit.
You're welcome! You were definitely thinking outside the real of the normal, and in my opinion in todays time people are looking for outside the norm! Because thinking outside the box creates innovation and progress.
Nice one and I always love to hear about success weather it be small or large it is still an upward movement and that is what it is al about !

ach, that is very generous of you! I just might take you up on this offer. I did like your style of writing very much and since I am the "hammer and nails guy" I haven't much of a clue how to formulate a Landing Page, or any kind of page that needs to be "formal"! I can write about my hobbies and passions only.
