As you can probably tell I am a senior citizen and because of the famous "bubble burst" of 2007-08, I lose two business and my shirt so I decided to "hang it up" in 2009. Since then I have tried several "things" on the Internet to make some money. Scam, scam, scam, has been my experience so far. I'm not looking for "get rich quick", "pie in the sky" crap. We all know there are no free lunches out there; just looking for something real and possible. Here's hoping WF is the vehicle. I hope and pray it is.
As far as goals, almost anything to supplement my social security would make me happy. Think about it; two senior citizens reduced to existing only on social security. Did that get your attention?
I would be ecstatic earning $5,000 per month. I believe that is a real
possibility. If it appears that I'm not a big thinker... That's wrong. I can
think much bigger when these goals are met.
I could invest full time if needed to. However, at my age I'd rather be playing golf and traveling once I reach the $5,000 level.
Can't wait to here your comments.

To your comment, "Here's hoping WF is the vehicle." I certainly believe it can be. It's not enough to just be on the site, but put into practice what you learn. If you'll put in the work, then you'll have the success you want! Once you reach that $5000 level, I'll come meet you on the golf course! Best of luck to you. Cheers!

Hi Luther, your goal is completely achievable!
Your outlook is realistic - Get rich quick schemes do not exist . If they did we would all be rich quick!
The Beauty of WA is that the skills you will acquire through the lessons WILL bring you money should you stick to it all! This is an exciting time Luther and the community are so helpful and friendly ! The only way is UP! :)

My first site didn't work because I couldn't brand it. Kyle advised that I go with something else. I chose "golf rules for dummies" with good numbers and Kyle approved. I am beginning to build content. I would like a golf theme but haven't seen one in our choiceses. Do you think a golf theme would help or hinder?

Choose a theme that is simple, ideally with a white background and black text (as this is the most readable).
I tend to avoid themes with too many bells and whistles as the focus of your website will be your content and your content will make your website look visually appealing to your audience.
So choose something simple, yet elegant and if you ever need to change down the road, you can easily do so within Appearance => Themes.
There are over 3,000 to choose from there and you will also be able to upload your own from there.
I have created some training on how to do this that you should check out: How to Change Your Website Theme in Wordpress

F.Y.I. I'M FOLLOWING KYLE'S ADVISE.

KISS, is definitely the approach when it comes to the themes. This way you can put all your focus on the actual content. Content makes your site look relevant, beautiful and ultimately should be the focus.

Thank you.
Having a problem when I copy and paste the content I have created for "About Me" and Page/post for Page titled "Golf Rules For Dummies". I lose all the configuration/formatting (not sure this is correct wording) when I paste into WA profile page and into the Word Press page. Where can I find the video that covers that?
