Keyword, Niche and Market Research

I was researching my ongoing battle with my niche, when I came across an article on ezinearticles.com and came across an article that made me mad. When I participate in somethin

I don't think that lady knows anything at all about our program. If you read the article you can see that she is using the keyword wealthy affiliate in nearly every paragraph. This is an example of the way articles used to be written in order to get search engine rankings. If you had a chosen keyword you would use it a lot.

Now, times are different. That is called keyword stuffing and if you try it now instead of being on first page of Google you will be penalized. The one thing she said that is still correct today is that you must write for human beings...not search engines.

Yup.... all of the above and some!!!

Its also good that its not ewerybody who are agre on what we are doing here the oposite opinion is also good to know

Here is why she wrote it ---to promote her ---Ebook and build a list of those looking to become a affiliate--

I read the article and I think the author used "wealthy affiliate" as a keyword.

Ade

I agree.... (see my response -- a little wordier than yours! lol).

Yep. "Wealthy affiliate" or "A Wealthy Affiliate" was the keyword they were trying to target. Nothing to do with "our" Wealthy Affiliate. So... if you didn't like the article... why not write a better one? ;) Sounds like it has to do with your nice.

Hi, I think the author was writing about "affiliate programs" and just put the word wealthy in front of it to key into that some of the wealthy affiliates are "wealthy" because they know how to look for a good program to affiliate with on their website. She was not writing about WA. So, this should not anger you. Read it as a source of how to find affiliate programs for your niche. Remember, there are ways to search for them with your niche (keyword) + affiliate programs on Google. So, this was about Affiliate Programs in general and NOT WA..... :)

Hi Christina....I agree that this post did seem way too long and mixed up. I could not stand to read the whole thing. *Sorry* I think that the person's aim was to talk about being in an Affiliate Program and to be wealthy. That is what I got out of the couple of paragraphs that I read. But, it is very confusing. Have a nice weekend. *Melanie*

I was trying to get feedback on my website and was told by someone at WA that he wanted to leave a comment but couldn't. I went in and looked in my quicklinks on each page to se

Thank you Christina...it's good that you were able to answer your own question! *smile* Keep up the good work. Have a nice weekend. *Melanie*

It's good to know that this could happen.

Ok I found it on my own. If you are having the same issues then here's what you need to do.
1.) On the left side of your builder go to Settings
2.) Click on Discussion
3.) Go to 2nd topic "Other comment settings"
4.) UNCHECK the box that says; "users must be registered and logged in to comment
5.) Scroll to the bottom and click "Save Changes"

Hopefully this helps those that were having the same issues I was.

~Christina

Go to your Wordpress admin area, then select settings, then discussions. Check to see if people are allowed to comment on new post. Hopefully this will solve your problem.

Thanks, I forgot to refresh the page before I posted a comment to my own post....LOL

Go into your settings ---> discussion --> there should be something that says "users must be registered and logged in to comment" make sure that is unchecked.

Thanks, I guess I was finding it and posting it as you were.

Lol yeah. :)
