Someone Opened The Floodgates Yesterday
Thankfully this has nothing to do with Storm Hannah or anything being flooded with water.
It is more to do with something that happened with my Instagram account and people following. I have absolutely no idea what it is that I have done or did differently but for some reason in the space of just one day I received over 115 followers on instagram.
It was like all these people had been held back from following and suddenly the floodgates opened and WHOOSH in they all came.
I was just sitting watching all these messages saying people were following me and was thinking OMG WTF. I honestly didn't know whether to be happy or concerned that I had did something wrong.
So for anyone who is thinking about creating an instagram account but is worried about whether people will follow or not, then this is a good reason to go ahead and do it.

That is cool..did you recently share anything to ur instagram account? Also if you do in the future make sure you add hashtags it helps
I must say instagram is still confusing to me but i do know it works i just dont use it as much as i should

Wow, that is great. I wonder if a post you did got picked up in the main search feed, which lead to a bunch of new followers. This will happen and with consistency, you will see your following only continue to climb.
It isn't your business, rather it will become an accessory to your business and through time it can really help you establish brand and trust.
Thanks Kyle and I have absolutely no idea what I did but it obviously worked. It wasn't even my business account which is linked to my website. It was just my general instagram account.

You are very welcome Liz and I was the same, I just followed people I knew. Then as I started posting I got more followers but what happened yesterday was amazing. I never knew any of them that followed. I'm not sure what they go on Liz.
