5 Affiliate Referrals! Get On The Social Media Bus!
If you are using your Social Media (SM) platforms only for keeping in touch with friends and watching the lives of others, you are cheating yourself, big time!!
You must be seeing all the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) blog posts about the success that our Members are having using SM creatively for their businesses. It's time to leave the no-return, play of SM behind and leverage the success that it will give you, if you learn to use it appropriately.
1 Post, 5 Referrals - Overnight
On my personal development website, I promote Grammarly. They are very subtle banners and you can very easily miss them if you are scrolling through quickly. On this website, my focus is on content and simply sharing creative ways to think about common organisational and personal development issues.
Yesterday evening, I shared a link to 1 of my articles in one of my Facebook Groups. It is a Writers' Group and we share ideas and tips about writing and helping each other's business.
This morning, I was really happy to see 4 emails from my Grammarly Affiliate Program in my inbox saying that I referred 5 new persons to Grammarly!
A very quick check showed me that those Referrals came from the 1 post I shared yesterday evening in my Facebook Group!
That shows the awesome potential of what could happen with consistent SM activity to drive traffic to our websites.

I am about to share mine today. I got my very 1st referral from sharing WA blog posts or training on my Facebook personal account (since I don't have an MMO site yet).
The thing with Pinterest is I heard different opinions. Some say don't use Pretty Link or Bitly, Pinterest doesn't like it. Some say don't use raw affiliate link on your pins. However, we can still use our blog post's URL that will direct the Pinterest users to visit our website. That's a safe way. We don't want to get banned or get our account suspended if we don't play by their rules.
