Increasing sales!
It's a long time since I wrote my last blog post here at WA. I just wanted to give a short update on my "sales".
I have never been a huge fan of social media. Thus I basically skipped the WA training about it. What helped me a lot in increasing my sales were two things:
- investing in Google adverts
- using a keyword tools that works for the German language
Since August my sales have increased dramatically. For investing about $ 5,-- in ads I made a sale of $30,-- on average.
Therefore the saying "it takes money to make money" somehow became true for me. In doing the calculation correctly you will stay on the winning side.
Anyway - seeing sales increase is a big encouragement to go forward and keep building your website.

It’s awesome that you’re leveraging a keyword tool to find success.
Spending money on advertising scares the heck out of me. I think I’ll wait until I have profits from organic reach to spend on it so I won’t feel like I’m spending my own money.
That sounds like a good idea to wait until you have profits from organic reach. I made sales already but with google ads they just increased dramatically. The good thing is you can try it with just spending $ 2,-- for about 3 days and see what results you get.

Thanks for the tip - once I've got some content with affiliate links I'll give it a go. Spending $10 for a three day experiment is worth it if it will help build my confidence.
Just make sure you use a good keyword for the ad:-) otherwise you will be getting no results. And it's really good to learn how to do it (steep learning curve here).

Since our premium membership now includes Jaaxy, I'll be hammering it to find the best keywords before I start my campaign! :)

Thanks, yes investing a bit really helped heaps. I first couldn't believe it but it's has been going on for several weeks like that. I am only doing one single ad for one blog post. So trying it out is certainly a good idea for anyone.
Awesome, so awesome to hear about your great ROI. It sounds like you have found the formula that works in your niche and it is likely just a matter of "doing more of what you are already doing to scale your business.
