Hello WA family!

My website is starting, so I was wondering what kind of keywords should I be focusing on?
I was told to write on keywords with very, very low QSR. I

Sometimes I look at how common the topic I'm writing about is. If I'm writing about something fairly uncommon, meaning not many people have already written about, I would easily go with low search volume as long as QSR is below 30.
It is understandable that few people would be searching. For example, keywords related to new products.

However, when dealing with a highly competitive keyword, I tend to try different wording variations of the keyword until I find optimal QSR + High search volume. It needs patience and just playing around with words. Make sure your keywords DO make sense.
I hope this helps...

Thanks.

You’re welcome

Try to find QSR under 100
Traffic over 50 the lower the QSR the better to get ranked

Or, maybe the other way around, like QSR under 50 and traffic over 100.

That sounds like like it

Traffic and QSR around 75 is a good rule of thumb. If you can find Traffic higher and QSR lower that would be preferable.

This older training will give you some ideas on how to do keyword research.

Thanks.

Hi Nick, I think this training by Kyle is a good place to start. Not sure if you've seen it yet. Cal
