We're allowed 25 .siterubix.com sites and another 25 .com sites with purchased domain names. I know this much. What I'm not sure of is this: If I delete one of my sites, do I g
So I checked with Site Support just to be sure.
They said straight up that if I delete a site, I get the slot back.
So the slots are replenish-able.
Which is awesome.
I'm a little slow so bear with me haha So if I delete a site, it's slot becomes available again? Or are the slots gone forever once they've been used?
The slot has been used so it will be 23 websites left on either side your own domain and or Siterubix :)
Ok, so once I've created a site, I lose it's associated slot forever, even if I delete the site associated with that slot?
Like if I delete a .siterubix site, I don't get another slot to put a different .siterubix site to take it's place?
hey hi Caleb! ... super question -- total hosting = 50 websites -- you've already done the math and it sounds correct -- that's still a lot of sites to look after ..... if you delete one, it makes room for another, technically ...
... all the best, cheerio ... 😊

If I delete a website, does it still count against my total?

The text in the header of my website currently reads "The Blog" haha I'm not sure how to change it. I've been able to change the image in the header, but not edit the text itse
Aloha Caleb!
You log into WordPress dashboard, there in the bottom is General Settings. Click on it, in this window in the top there is the Site Title.
Put yours into.
This should work!
Aloha, Jenna
I had phrased my question incorrectly (as is to be expected of a total Noob like myself haha). I have solved the problem though, what I was actually trying to ask, in hindsight, is how to change the title of my blog. Since "The Blog" text was appearing in the header (or, at least, where the header image I had changed was) I thought I wanted to change the header text. It turns out that I what I was actually trying to ask was "How do I change the title of my Blog". I figured it out: I have to go to "Theme Options" then "Blog Settings" and change the "Blog Title" which is a "Custom page header title on a single posts". Still thank you both so much for responding to my question so quickly, I appreciate it!
Hi Caleb
You should first log into your website dashboard.
choose the setting from the left sidebar and click General.
Change Site title" and the "Tagline" can be changed here. Enter a new title and tagline.
Hope this help

I did not even know I intended to ask a different question than I had initially posted, still thank you for your help and suggestions Rania! I'll keep what you wrote in mind for my later websites.
Turns out the link was not what I needed haha but the training you offered there is excellent as always, I definitely read through it all and took notes anyways. Thank you!

I also used the site content image tool (scit). But all was fine on the website. I noticed that by scit implemented images I did not have the window to manipulate the image. However, when I clicked at the image itself I could change its size. This was nice.
It is very easy to implement images in WordPress. Maybe screen shot the picture, and implement in WP?
Hope it helps.
What you suggest seems reasonable and I'll try it out later for sure. My issue at the moment is that images I am adding to already published material are not appearing on the either the Word Press editor or on the site itself. The images appear only in the "Site Content" editor here at WA. I don't know if there is an updating problem or a time delay with already published content. Is there anything of that nature that you'd be aware of?
No. I'm absolutely amazed about WP how it works together with Site Content tools. It is FAST, too! No delays, no updating issues.
I experienced lots of challenges with the website we use for our bike rental business. It is WordPress hosted by bluehost. It drives me crazy!! It doesn't update for hours or even a day ...
Not the WordPress here! I'm thinking that your WP should work as smooth as mine. If it doesn't there is an issue somewhere, and I would ask for technical support.
My only difference in using Site Content image tool vs. WP editor is that I don't see the pop up window with the sizes, title and caption and this stuff.
Hope this helps you!
They should transfer....I just posted one today with no issue. Did you add the image just before posting? You might want to try clicking save on the Site Content version and then clicking on Publish. I've heard of, but not experienced, people having issues if they added the image seconds before posting.
Hopefully that helps.
I have two sites right now. My ".com" site which is already indexed by Google is the one I'm having trouble with. My ".siterubix.com" site displays the images as they are seen in the Site Content editor. It is my ".com" site that is not displaying the images. I do not see any option to save my work in the content editor menu. Only a "Published, Edit Here" option. I click on that and it takes me to the WordPress editor. There I do not see my image, I go to my page from the links provided and also do not see my images.
Odd when I got to create new content (not already published) I have a save button right next to the publish button in Site Content. I'm not sure why it's different for you.
It isn't. I'm talking about adding images to already published content. I creating brand new content for my "siterubix.com" site today and the images appeared in both the site editors for WA and Word Press. It's the ".com" site where my content is already published that the images appear only in the WA site editor but not in the Word Press editor or on the Website.
The only way to add images to already published content is in the WP dashboard itself. Once content is published Site content can no longer do anything with it. To add images just log into your site dashboard, select media and then add new media. Once added you can edit the post and add images.
For real? I'm glad you got back to me on that haha I was starting to get very frustrated (part of my brain is very slow haha). Thank you so much for clearing that up for me! So if my post is already published, I need to be adding media through the Word Press site editor and not the WA Site Content editor. Ok, I'll get on that immediately. Thank you once again!
