Nike Got it Right, Just Do It

The best motivational advice sometimes comes right from Nike...just do it. This is the ultimate cure for procrastination. When I'm thinking about writing an article or review, or debating whether or not to make a change to my website's appearance, I am very good at coming up with a reason why I should do it tomorrow or next week. But if you "just do it", you don't put it off. And it really feels good to actually get stuff done. It's like a weight lifts, and all of the sudden you're ready for the next task.

So my motivational tip for today: just do it. You'll feel better. You'll feel accomplished. And most importantly, you'll have finished something and allowed yourself to move on to the next thing. Hope this helps!

Great advice I am glad you just did it!

....and once you "just do it" then you get motivated to keep doing it because it feels so good. Good advice.

Just do it is great advice of course, I get side tracked once in a while...but eventually I just do it anyways...It turns out not to be as bad as you may have thought it would be. :))

Exactly, it's always worse in your head

I hear ya there. :)

That's a very good tip Buck, i took your advice over a create space review file only yesterday, it came back with a problem, i sat until 3 am to fix it, then i couldn't sleep because i was hyped up with my new book, should i have left that until the next morning or not, But generally i would definitely agree. There is always the exeption to the rule

Thanks Chris! Yes, with anything in life there are exceptions that prove the rule. Building off of what you said; if you're really excited about something, even if you can't figure it out or are having endless issues, as long as your excitement is still there, there really isn't any reason to leave what you are doing. Sometimes putting our work down until the morning is probably the best thing to do but we just can't resist to keep plugging away. When this is the case I embrace my motivation and keep going.

Excellent advice!!!

Thanks!
