ChrisBL's Goals 3

My Goals are rally to afford a bungalow in a small village without a mortgage, so about £200, 000 after that an achievable standard of living would be around £150 - £200K pa although comfort would cost a lot less. To be ecstatic, and wildly happy the figure would be around £500K pa. As far as dedicated time allotment i have no other time contraints apart from Hospitals and doctors visits, anything up to 50/60 hrs a week

If you want to add amazon affiliate links just go to amazon associates and login (if you are not already a member you will of course need to join). Then find your product in search or browse for product. I just typed in chris lakin in search and your book came up top of the list.
Then click on the get link button next to the product. You now have a choice of what you want to appear on the page on your website. You will see in box 2 a preview of what will appear. You can choose between the amazon image of your product with text, or a line of text only, or image only. You can also get a widget, but I would not worry about that for now if you are not familiar with it.
So, let's say you want text only - click the tab that says text only and you will see in the preview that it says Captain Griswald with his crew and friends. This is what will appear on your page, and this will be linked to amazon with your amazon affiliate link.
Now, look below this at box 3, where it says Get HTML code for this product. You need to copy the HTML code. To do this, click the button that says Highlight HTML, then copy it. Now go to the page of your website where you want the link. At the top of the text edit window, just above all the tools, you will see two tabs - one says Visual, the other says Text. Click on text. Paste the HTML code you have copied from amazon into the page where you want your link to appear. You must do this in Text, not in Visual for this to work.
Now click the Visual tab and you will see your page should have the link in. Preview your page to see how it looks. When you click on this link it should take you to your product on Amazon.
The address bar of the page on amazon it takes you to from the link you have just made will be the link to your product with your affiliate code. So, if you want, you can copy this address (URL) and use that to make links from any words or images already in your text.
Hope this helps. See how you go and if you need any more help just let me know. Lyndsey
