Day 8? and Still Feel Like a Newbie.
I think its day number 8 for me...and I still feel like a newbie...
Some of you probably think and know me to be one...am I?
I don't feel like I have anything of value to give yet... I am still trying to meander through all that there is to do here. Training, reading all the blogs of people that I have followed, respond to posts of others, like posts to promote other WA members' rankings...and the list goes on. Sometimes I seem overwhelmed by all that there is still here to do. I have learned that I can't read everything...even though I want to. One reason... I WANT TO ABSORB EVERYTHING!!!
Well, I can say I have created my first website and I am trying to muddle through all the training that I still must get through. I will be persistent and make this successful. I have tried other money makers in the past including a very popular Mutli-Level Marketing company. I'm afraid to say the name for fear that it may also break a blogger rule. Anyway, my dad got me involved in it and the products are top-notch, but expensive and the building of the distributorship was arduous. Mainly, because I didn't have a network of friends. So, I gave that up and have been looking for something better than the hourly grind ever since...well HERE I AM!! And Wealthy Affiliates is very much the answer. You don't need an existing network...you literally build your own network right here. All the support you ever need is right here...
Well, it appears I'm staying, thanks everyone for any support you may have given me.

This is my second attempt at WA. Due to getting overwhelmed and juggling so many balls. This time I am starting from scratch. I will take it slow. So I shall follow your progress it will be nice to feel like I am walking alongside some in this journey.

I've been here a little bit ago 6 months so can I give you some advice. You are doing great. Go as slow as you need to because no one is rushing you!! I tried to rush myself and ended up having to redo a lot so long story short. Go at the speed YOU NEED TO. This great place isn't going anywhere!!

Thanks Elaine...I intend to take it at my own pace. But, like I alluded to in my post...it seems like so much. This community is similar to when I took classes online with the Univ. Of Phoenix- the discussions in the class forum were very much like the discussions everywhere here. Supportive and informative.

Stay focused on the training step-by-step. Don't worry about the blogs here for now, unless you have a question related to the current training you are on. Don't try to jump ahead or shortcut the process and you will do great.
I too am in the same boat Bob! Like most things in life, starting something new seems overwhelming, as there are so many things others know that we do not. The benefit you and I have is that a majority of people on this site have gone through the same struggles but without as much support.
We have so many who know what we are going through, and they are here to help guide us along the way! I have always been under the impression that we should do trial by fire. A coach puts a player in the game with expectations and goals, but quite often these goals far outreach what is expected of us. With the assistance of others (our coaches per se) in combination with the drive and dedication we bring to the table, we will hatch out of our newbie shells and become the coaches to those who are in the phase we are now!

Hello Bob. Almost 2 months here at WA and I AM still a newbie! Well, that is how I view myself where I am at here at WA. When I read up on posts, I say.. I need to do that and that and that...then I say, nap time! ha ha ha. One at a time with the right priority... I suppose will gain you the best progress.

Thanks, I am doing what I can based on my required schedule at work and balancing what time I have left with my family and here. I lose enough time away from my family that I don’t want to lose any more. So what time I have left I do this and spend it with family. The best part I am able to do this while also doing stuff with my little girl and my wife. I have figured out how to do most things with my phone here.
