Hell Everyone,
I'm a little concerned about my site. The site is http://buildingyourhomebusiness.com and
I just answered your last question a bit ago on your 7 tips page you had to correct the link for.
In addition to what I wrote I agree with Shawn here. The green is super distracting : )
We want the focus to be on your content.
I spoke to the look of that as well in my previous answer to you.
Hi Bob. I can see that you have 18 indexed pages/blogs etc. on Google. Depending on the visitors search and if they click on your site link, they will open that page/blog which shows in the search result. The page 'Site Review' is a bit in general. You should integrate a LHF keyword in the SEO. I hope that helps, but may be I did not quite understand your question.
Rudi
Rudi,
Thank you. I will make that change. After thinking about it, It does make a lot more sense doing it your way. Thanks.
hi Bob
I think your site is well organized. You have relevant pages on top and categories on the side. It should not feel like you just want to sell stuff as soon as people come on your site. And it does not on yours :) However, I am normally a fan of colors but there is a bit much here. I think the picture menu you have under your regular menu is too much. I would take that one out as the regular menu is clear and well laid out already.
Emily
Make your review tab on your menu a category, then assign all of your review posts to that category. When a visitor clicks on that review tab they will get all of your review posts in one place in a blog roll format.
You can do this with other categories also.
Just a thought :)
This thought sounds great, Shawn. I have been thinking about that but didn't know if it would be a good idea. Now coming from someone els I guess it is a good idea. Thanks.

Should I rearrange my site layout?
Hell Everyone,
I'm a little concerned about my site. The site is http://buildingyourhomebusiness.com and
I think it's OK to have only a few offers on the first page. What you want to do there is establish trust (as Emily said).
As to the colors, I feel that they are just too intense (it's the visual equivalent of screaming). Will your theme let you change them, tone them down a bit? because otherwise I think the site is good.
I've started making color changes to the background, now I just have to color coordinate what's on the site. Thanks for the help.

Just a note to all who read this...
I misspelled the URL to my link. the proper spelling is:
http://buildingyourhomebusiness.com
Sorry about that. I think there's something wrong with my keyboard.
Thanks for the tip. I do that all the time. In fact about once a month I completely take apart my laptop and take an air can to all the parts, motherboard, and casing.
I think it might be do to the fact that I broke the keyboard ribbon cable retainer and am now just using hard plastic wraping and electrical tape to hold it in place.
Thanks for your advice.
Hey darlin' I got the same message "not available" you may want to submit a support ticket to get this resolved as soon as possible. : )
Okay, a few things I noticed right off the bat:
Your content needs to be spaced out. It's all squished together and it's very hard to read.
You are getting some good comments and some horrible ones talking about your site and not talking at all about what you actually wrote.
(Oh, not as important but just a heads up..I believe someone asked what theme you were using
I'm going to focus in on Tip#7
*Just a side note...I'm not ripping your page apart I see some good stuff in there
Hi Fyre,
Believe me. I don't mind if you rip my site apart at. In fat that is what I'm looking for to get as much detail as possible to fine tune my site. In fact I can't thank you enough for what you said.
Could you be just a little more specific when you say:
"Your content needs to be spaced out. It's all squished together and it's very hard to read."
How could I space out my site? Are you referring to only the mobile format or both the desk top and mobile formats of the site? Thanks.
Sorry about that. As I said to Fyre, I misspelled the url. The correct spelling is http://buildingyourhomebusiness.com

Hi Bob thanks for the follow up my only suggest to you is go to youtube and just type in the search bar your question and i'm sure you will get the answer your looking for all the best and good luck in WA cheers
Hi Renelynm,
I just wanted to thank you for the help. That video did help out and I was able to send the email I needed to. Thank you very much.
Thanks for the help. I initially sent it using ie 10 and that's where I couldn't send. I did what you said. I cleared my cache tried it again but got the same results. I then used Firefox and when I tried to log in, I get a server error. I also noticed to different passwords for the email address. One for incoming mail and one for outgoing mail. This is under the SMTP settings button. I tried logging in with the outgoing password and I couldn't get in.
Do you or any one else have any suggestions?

Out of curiosity, I went to my WA affiliate link url and when the site opened I could see my affiliate link in the web browser's address box.
I then clicked on Education
If you referred a person and they click through your link to WA, WA will remember this person, via the cookies! So as long as a person comes back to WA on the same device, you will get credit.
Even if it is a month or 9 later.
Nice, right?!
Very nice. So if they go into WA with my affiliate link, not buy and exit the browser, then come back later in the week using http://www.wealthyaffiliate.com and buy, if their cache hasn't been cleared I would still get commission. Right?
Ok thanks. This has been a great help. Sounds like as long as they don't clear their cache, I'll be ok and get my commission.
Once again, Thanks.

I have been getting a few pings in my comments section on various posts and pages. Should I respond to these pings or ignore them? And if I have to respond to them, how should
I turned off pings and trackbacks because, as AllynBeekman says, most are spam.
This might help: So What The Hell Is A Pingback and What Should You Do About Them? ~Jude
Is the content of the ping an actual good comment related to your post? Or is it similar to spam in that it includes information about some product or random, unrelated sentences? If the former, it might be useful. If the latter, avoid it and delete it.
Most of what I've seen about pings falls into the second category, essentially spam.
